When she woke she was on the bed and Gavin lay beside her, his head propped up on a pillow. His hands held her face. She whispered in confused fear, "Gavin, what are you doing here?" Tears fell from his beautiful eyes unchecked and his voice was thick. "Coming to take you home. You have put me through hell, Honor. I thought you were dead."   Honor thought quickly, her mind racing through possibilities until only one was left. She would surrender to survive.
