Ruby's POV
I parked my car and stepped out, sipping my juice as I tried to calm my racing thoughts. Just as I took another sip, a large figure suddenly blocked my path. I paused, looking up to see a towering man standing in front of me, his huge frame casting an imposing shadow over me like a dark omen.
"Excuse me," I said, trying to sidestep him, but he mirrored my movement, blocking my way again. His presence was suffocating, his eyes boring into mine with an intensity that made my skin crawl.
I moved away again, trying to pass another side, but he mirrored my movement yet again. My confusion quickly turned to irritation, then fear. "Who are you?" I asked, my voice trembling despite my attempt to sound strong.
