The fire had burned low, its embers casting a faint orange glow across the stone walls. I lay atop Dominic, my body still trembling, though the sharp edges of pain had dimmed to a soft ache like the last stages of period cramps when your lower back just has a continuous dull ache. My body still moved with and up and down motion to keep our climaxes from drifting away but he was weak and it was my first time so we were taking a minute to catch our breaths abit. His hands moved lazily across my back, the warmth of his touch grounding me, even as my mind struggled to keep up with the rush of emotions threatening to consume me. I shouldn’t feel this way. Not so quickly. Not about someone who had stolen me from my world and turned everything upside down. But none of that mattered anymore. All
