Catching these stupid fish wasn’t easy. Not to mention, I was doing it in nothing but my panties and a top. The night was freezing, the chill seeping into my bones, and the water was even colder. I couldn’t stop shivering, but I had no choice. I stayed completely still, my legs submerged, praying the fish would swim close enough to my grasp. Every time I shifted, I feared they’d dart away, and the cold water lapped at my skin with each movement. I didn’t even like fish, but I was starving. This was the only way.
