Some not very friendly creatures

After speaking with the lamia leader, the Ahuizotl with his daughter on his back began to walk through the forest.

Unlike other places in the lamias’ territory, there was a network of stone paths that ran through the forest.

That is why they advanced quickly, but when night came, they camped near an apple tree, where there were some snakes.

The next day, they all woke up and, after feeding and cleaning little Diana, they set out on their way to the edge of the territory.

After a few hours of walking in the morning, they reached the limit of the lamias’ territory. In the place there was a gigantic stone wall.

Where there were thousands of lamia women who were wearing armor and had bows and magic wands.

“This place is our limit, you will have to go through that wooden door and cross the only bridge in the place.

The Ahuizotl took a deep breath and stepped out of the wooden doors as he walked towards the stone bridge.

As he approached the bridge, he could smell a sulfur aroma coming from the river, so he only frowned. As he walked along the stone bridge, he heard the wooden doors close.

So he started to run towards the dark forest in front of him. As he started to run, he went into the forest and continued on his straight path.

To avoid problems, he used the power of the shadows to be able to move faster, and that will go unnoticed. Because of this, he was able to run for hours until his daughter woke up with some hunger.

So he had to come out of the shadows and after giving her a milk plant, he just hope she finished eating.

To his surprise, what came out of the bushes was a white mist that had no shape.

The mist simply stared at the Ahuizotl and her daughter before safely making their way into the forest, although he did not know that his little daughter had seen the true form of the mist.

The Ahuizotl opened his eyes because he heard that something else was approaching preparing for the worst. I ask to see how the skeleton of a man came out of the bushes.

Which had in his hand a rusty sword, the skeleton when seeing the Ahuizotl and a human baby began to run towards them.

But he could not take more than three steps before he fell into a pool of shadows, which prevented him from moving.

The Ahuizotl left him trapped in the shadows because he did not intend to move until his daughter finished eating.

By the time little Diana drank her milk completely, about 15 skeletons were trapped in pools of shadows.

As the Ahuizotl only sighed while patting his daughter on the back so that she could burp, little Diana did not take long to do so and later fell asleep.

At that moment the Ahuizotl looked at the skeletons with hatred and began to destroy them one by one, using its claws.

Because they were covered in shadows, they could not defend themselves, so they were easy prey for the claws of the Ahuizotl.

After finishing with the skeletons, he took the valuables that were on them and returned to the shadows to advance through that place.

For he could sense that those creatures seemed to be arriving in large numbers where he was.

So he did not want to risk it because he had his daughter with him, so it would be dangerous to give them the opportunity to get close to him.

That is why he came to the conclusion that it would be best to simply get out of that area of the forest as quickly as possible, although he will end up extremely tired.

Because her daughter’s life was at stake.
