The old man stood across the street, hiding himself in the shadows of a dark alley, and watched Jenks and his men come walking out of the revolving glass doors of the hotel. A frown accentuated the deep creases of his old face. Leaving his phone behind in the hotel room would only confirm Jenks’s suspicions. The brown-eyed killer had an inside man working for him in the Jenks organization. God help the informant if the big man ever got his hands on the man’s pitiful old body.
