Sydney sat up with a jolt, her heart lurching. Tears were running down her cheek. The bed was empty, and Gavin wasn't there to comfort her. She heard the sound of running water from the bathroom and she stood up. Gavin's tux sat carelessly by the edge of the bed. Had he seen her sulking in her sleep and didn't bother to wake her up? Steam poured out of the bathroom as Gavin stepped out with a towel wrapped around his waist. She gulped as she saw the V-line of his waist. "You didn't tell me you were coming home."
