Amare

“We have to move her faster.”

“She’s not exactly tiny and her dress is huge.”

“Well let’s hurry up before they notice her missing.”

They put me in a car and that was the last thing that I heard before waking up in the back of the car. I looked around and I didn’t recognize where I was then they noticed that I was awake.

“Boss is going to love your dress.”

“Your boss is also going to love getting killed.”

He tutted at me.

“Believe me girl, no one can kill him.”

“Oh yeah?”

We came to a stop and he dragged me out of the truck. He walked me into the house and it was absolutely huge and beautiful. He brought me to a room and there were people waiting for me.

“Fix her up and make sure that he can’t see the bruising on her wrists.”

“Yes boss.”

They started fixing my hair and makeup and I saw the wand again.

“Use that damn thing on me and it’s going up your ass.”

She looked a little scared then nodded her head. I remembered the knife that was hidden and I felt it, meaning they didn’t search me. 

Faith?

I’m here.

Are you okay?

You’re worried about me right now? 

Yes because you’re quiet.

Don’t worry, I’m okay. I’m just trying to think of a way to get out of here.

I still have my knife and the necklace.

That’s good. They don’t know what the necklace is for.

Luckily it looks like it’s just a simple ruby necklace.

Exactly. Once we are alone, we will go.

Okay.

I looked in the mirror and everything looked the same as it was earlier. You could see the scars and marks on my back, shoulders, and arms perfectly and my makeup was the same as it was earlier.

“Come on.”

He walked me down to the room and it looked like a dining hall.we brought me to where I was sitting and it was the end of the table.

“Stay quiet.”

“Tell me what to do again and I’m killing you first.”

He chuckled then pressed a knife against my throat.

“Your boss won’t be happy to know you’re threatening to kill me.”

He chuckled.

“Pendeja.”

“Language sir.”

A man came in and chuckled at what the two of us were doing. He was a tall and attractive man. 

“You exceed your expectations mi amor.”

“I am not your love.”

“You’re right, you’re Kyree’s. Or are you Deimos’? I can’t keep track of you lovers anymore.”

“Neither. I don’t belong to anyone.”

“And that’s why you are perfect for me.”

He came and sat next to me. 

“I’m perfect alone. Now, if you’d kindly let me leave, I won’t kill the four men you have in this room, the six in the hallway, the twelve upstairs, and the nine outside.”

He c****d his eyebrow.

“Impressive.”

“You know where you took me from, meaning you know who I’ve been training with.”

“Athena and Ares.”

“Which means that you have to be either the smartest man alive, or the dumbest.”

“Neither, the luckiest.”

I chuckled then he handed me a glass.

“It’s water.”

I handed it back to him and he nodded his head. He took a sip and handed it back to me.

“I didn’t have you come all of this way to poison you.”

I chuckled then took a small sip.

“Why am I here? Why did you have to forcefully take me?”

“Because I knew you wouldn’t have come here willingly and that the God’s would have stopped you.”

“Which gives me even more reasons to kill you now.”

“And the other answer you wanted, is that I want you to be my mate.”

“Mates are by choice of the Goddess and by the love shared. Not by force.”

He shook his head.

“But you see, we were chosen by the Goddess but Melody changed that at birth so you’d be mated to a different man instead of me.”

I shook my head.

“If she did that it was for my protection.”

“Then you got cheated on.”

I looked away at the memories.

“I will never lie to you, cheat on you, or hurt you.”

“I’ve heard that before.”

“From a married God. I’m not a God nor am I married. And if you look around, there are no women here. All of my pack members are mated and happy and I am the only wolf here that isn’t.”

“You want me for more power. Having hybrid pups will give you all of the power that you could desire.”

“I don’t want children. I hate them.”

“What do you want from me?”

I used my Alpha voice.

“I want you, all of you. I want the worst and the best.”

He shook his head then got up.

“You commanded me.”

“You would too if you were in my situation.”

He chuckled.

“You haven’t told me your name.”

“Archie Richards.”

I nodded my head then stood up. The guard armed himself.

“Down.”

He dropped his gun and I looked at Archie.

“I will not tolerate disrespect or being held like a prisoner.”

“Anything else?”

“Freedom to see my family whenever I please. And that includes my friends because they are my family too. I’d like to speak with Athena so she understands that I am not in danger and to not hunt me down and kill everyone here.”

He nodded his head.

“I will be treated as your equal and will be seen as such.”

“Believe me, you would have anyways because I think that women are stronger than men.”

I nodded my head.

“Anything else?”

“When the time comes, I’ll put my foot down and let you know.”

“Of course.”

I looked at his guard and let his have control over himself again.

“Make sure this one stays away from me or else he will be found dead.”

He chuckled.

“You can eat something then speak with Athena.”

“Alright.”

We sat at the table and I ate a sandwich and a few grapes. He looked a little annoyed that I wasn’t actually eating something but got over it. 

“How will you speak with Athena?”

“Don’t worry about it.”

He shook his head.

“No, tell me.”

“We are equals. You have many things that I don’t know about and I’m allowed to have a few things private too. I’m going to need two hours alone with no interuptions.”

He nodded his head then the guards brought me up to where my new room is. I memorized every inch of the room then thought about Athena's temple. The door appeared and I ran through it and started running to the doors. 

“Athena!”

Everyone looked at me in utter shock. She and a few of the others came to me and embraced me. 

“I’m only saying this once so no one says anything. There is a rat in here. The man that has me right now is Archie Richards. He claims that he and I are mates and is going to prove it so I’m going to be with him, gain his trust, and see what is really happening. I need my things because I only have a few hours and we all know how fast time flies.”

I ran to my room and started packing all of my things in my bags.

“Tori, you can’t stay there. He kidn*pped you!”

“He’s done nothing but treat me with respect and doesn’t want my power. Believe me, I used my Alpha voice on him and he had the exact same responses and no one besides Gods can fight off my Alpha voice.”

She shook her head.

“How are you sure that you are safe there?”

“Because the moment I got there, I could tell that he wouldn’t hurt me. Everyone else I get this feeling of uncertainty but him, nothing. I feel good around him and he’s done nothing but respect me and my wishes. I told him to treat me as an equal and he gave me my own room and has fed me and made sure that I’m comfortable.”

She shook her head then I gave her a hug.

“I have the freedom to come and go as I please. I’ll be fine and I’ll do my training at Aphrodite’s temple as I should but I’m going to be living with him.”

She nodded her head then I opened a portal and went back to the house. He was sitting in the bed waiting for me as I walked back into the room.

“You actually came back.”

“We have an understanding that we agreed to two unbothered hours.”

“I know but I heard you leave and came in to see that you had actually left.”

“I went to go inform Athena as I told you and I got my clothes.”

“If you need any other clothing just let me know.”

“I’m going to continue my training.”

“Understandable.”

I nodded my head then sat my bags on the bed. He stood up and went to help me unpack but I shook my head.

“What you can do is show me which door is the bathroom then unzip my dress so I can wash off all of this makeup and hair product.”

He chuckled then showed me the door.

“I’ll be in my office. If you need something there are two guards in the hallway that can help you find whatever you need and if you need me, they’ll bring you there.”

I nodded my head then turned around. He unzipped the dress and saw the corset.

“I’ll loosen that up for you so you can finish it.”

“Why?”

“Because I’m not going to use this situation to be a perv.”

I chuckled then nodded my head.

“It’s fine. I’m not worried about you seeing my body.”

“I am. Because I’m not going to be able to control my thoughts and possibly my actions.”

“I can handle myself.”

He sighed then undid my corset. I took a breath because the pressure on my ribs was gone and it felt good. He unlaced it completely and shut the door.

“Thank you!”

He walked out of the room and I finished getting undressed. I hung up my dress and took off my heels. I turned on the shower and there were several kinds of body scrubs, soaps, shampoos, conditioners, everything. I took out the pins in my hair and the crown. I got in the shower and I felt relaxed. 

I washed my hair and body then I turned the water off. I wrapped a towel around my body and walked out of the bathroom. I walked over to my bags and I put on a pair of leggings and a baggy tee-shirt. I put on my running shoes then walked out of the room and one of the guards saw me.

“Miss Tori, can I help you?”

“Can you take me to Amares office?”

“Of course ma’am. If you’re not too tired, I can show you around?”

“Maybe, thank you.”

He nodded his head then walked me down the hall, two rights then we were there.

“Here you are ma’am.”

“Just call me Tori.”

“Okay Tori.”

I knocked at the door then walked in. He was sitting there with a glass of whiskey and files on his desk. His hair was a little messed up because of him running his hand through it.

“Tori, I didn’t hear you.”

“I’m sorry, are you busy?”

I looked at the papers on his desk and he shook his head.

“Not for you. What’s up?”

“I was wondering if I could start my training tomorrow. I want to get it all done as soon as I can so I don’t have to worry about it later.”

“Hey.”

He stood up and walked around the desk. He towered over me and he sat on the edge of the desk. We were close enough for me to get a really good look at him. He was light skinned and had braids going to the back of his head and it was faded. His eyes were brown with hints of green and he had a slit in his eyebrow but there was a scar there.

“Tori.”

I came back to focus then he grabbed my hand gently. 

“You can continue what you were going to do. I just want you here, by my side. But if you want to study and train, go for it. I’m not going to prevent you from doing what makes you happy.”

I nodded my head then we stared each other in the eyes.

“You’re so beautiful.”

I looked away and blushed. He gently pulled my chin up and made me look at him. He stared into my eyes again and he studied my face. He brushed his thumb over the scar on my chin.

“I was six. I fell out of a trailer and cracked my forehead and chin.”

He nodded his head and I showed him the one on my forehead.

“You have quite the collection of scars.”

“Do you want to see them?”

“In time.”

I nodded my head and I noticed we had gotten closer. I moved his hands to my waist and he didn’t acknowledge it. 

“Say something.”

He looked confused.

“I want you but I don’t want to rush it.”

“Why not?”

“Because I don’t want you to think I’m like the other guys you’ve been with that tried having s*x with you from the start. I want to love you and you to love me before we have sex.”

I nodded my head. He brushed his thumb over my lips and stared deep into my eyes.

“In the morning we will have breakfast together then you can go to your training. Do you know what time you’ll be back?”

“Late in the afternoon. About five.”

“Okay, I’ll have something set up for you.”

“You don’t have to.”

“I want to. I want you to feel special.”

He grabbed my hips and pulled me even closer.

“Because you are, to me.”

I looked at his lips and I could feel his heart start to race and he started looking for me to make a  move. I got closer and he held my face in his hand. He softly started kissing me then I grinded my hips into his and he picked me up then sat me on the desk. It started getting heated and he pulled away and kissed my neck.

“I’m not going to have s*x with you right now and I don’t want you to think that.”

I nodded my head then he went back to kissing my neck. We kissed a few more times then he helped me back to my feet while we caught our breath. 

“You’ve got me hooked and all we did was kiss.”

He kissed me one last time.

“Good night.”

“Good night.”

I walked out of his office and touched my lips and where he kissed me on my neck. I saw my neck in the reflection of the window and it was pink and red. I walked to my room and started unpacking my bags while thinking about the kiss. I got in bed and turned off the lights while I was starting to drift to sleep. My door opened and I saw the shadow of Amare.

“What’s wrong?”

He got in bed beside me and wrapped his arm around me.

“Please don’t make me leave.”

“I won’t.”

He kissed me and I moved the blanket so he could get under the covers with me. He pulled my leg onto his lap and rubbed it while he rubbed my arm as I slept. I woke up before he did and he looked so peaceful. I got up and put on my tan uniform and I was about to braid my hair when he came into the bathroom.

“Hey.”

He smiled at me.

“I didn’t mean to intrude last night. I was a little drunk.”

“It’s okay.”

He kissed my cheek then brushed my hair for me then braided it.

“How’d you know that I was going to braid it?”

“You parted it into three which gave it away and I just wanted to take care of you.”

I chuckled then we walked out of the room together. He went to his room and changed while I walked down to the dining hall and had a cup of coffee. I was handed a plate with biscuits and gravy and an array of sides. I waited for Amare to come down before I started eating.

“Miss, Mister Amare doesn't usually eat breakfast.”

“Well he told me not too long ago to come down here and get started because he will be joining me.”

She nodded her head then Amare walked into the room and shocked her. 

“Sorry to keep you waiting.”

“It’s alright.”

He came over to me and kissed my cheek. He poured himself a cup of coffee and started eating his plate of breakfast. He looked over at me and noticed I hadn’t started.

“You’re not eating?”

“I don’t know. I know that I’m hungry and that I need food but at the same time, I feel like throwing up by looking at it.”

I looked at the cook and she looked hurt.

“It has nothing to do with you or this food. It looks and smells amazing, just-”

“The idea of eating makes you sick, doesn’t it?”

I nodded my head.

“You do know what that means, right?”

“Yeah. I’ve had an ED for the majority of my life but recently it’s been fine.”

“Well,it could be that you are in a different place right now and your body is adjusting.”

“No, it’s not that. I think it’s the intense training I’ve been doing lately. I noticed that I’ve been eating smaller portions of food than normal.”

He nodded his head.

“If you don’t look at it, do you think you can eat?”

“No, that doesn’t work for me.”

He nodded his head then she took the food away from me.

“Okay, I’ll see you later then.”

I got up and walked outside then I opened a portal and walked through and went to Aphrodite’s temple. I walked in and she was standing there with some girls.

“Aphrodite?”

She turned to me and gave me a hug.

“I’m glad to see that Athena wasn’t lying to me.”

“I’m okay. The man that I’m with right now is taking good care of me.”

She nodded her head then brought me to a room. She taught me how to stand out but blend in. we trained for several hours then she sighed.

“We really don’t need to do a lot of training my dear.”

“Why?”

“Because you are amazing at this. I don’t think it’s ever been this easy to train someone.”

“Well that’s good.”

She nodded her head.

“There is a party at the training base you are from next Sunday, the full moon. You should go.”

“I’ll talk to Amare about it.”

“Amare?”

“That’s his name, Amare Richards.”

She nodded her head then I opened a portal. I walked through and ended outside of the house and I heard a few voices. I turned and saw a few women.

“Who’s that?”

“No clue.”

“Why don’t we just talk to her.”

“She’s mated so that’s good.”

They walked over to me.

“Where are you from?”

“Who are you?”

I started chuckling.

“My name is Tori and I’m from Illinois, America.”

They looked at each other then one looked at my mark.

“There’s something wrong with your mark.”

I looked down.

“Is your mate dead?”

“Something like that.”

“What happened to it?”

“I burned it off. He was cheating on me and lied to me about it so I burned it off in front of both of our packs.”

“You’re an Alpha?”

“Yes.”

“What pack?”

“Blood Moon pack, descendant of the Silver Moon pack.”

“Wow.”

They took turns bowing their heads to me and I nodded my head.

“If you’ll excuse me, I have to get inside and shower. I just finished my training for the day.”

They nodded their heads and I walked inside.
