The party descended into absolute chaos after Chloe dropped her bomb. Mason, the center of the storm, took the news of his impending fatherhood with disturbing ease. I didn't know what game he was playing, but he smiled as he walked over to Chloe. He placed a hand on her waist, his other hand drifting to her flat stomach.
"So, it's my child," he said softly.
