Chapter 8: Met At The Police Station

“Hey, officer Carl” he called out to the cop taking Luciana inside the station.

His voice caught Luciana and Carl's attention, Luciana was surprised, and her heart started beating rapidly.

Carl stiffened, and he started sweating profusely, Daniel beamed with a smile “Luciana, I envy your hands” he said looking at the handcuffs.

Luciana lowered her head shyly, and her eyes bulged in their sockets when she understood Daniel was referring to the handcuffs slapped to her wrists.

She rattled her head and tried to defend herself, but when she raised her head, Daniel have already taken the cop away.

“Officer Carl, do you know who she is?” Daniel asked with wide eyes, Carl gave him an askance look.

“Daniel, I will release her, since she is your girlfriend, but you will owe me a favour,” he said with a greedy look on his face.

Daniel shook his head, Carl's face changed, and he gulped, his lips paled “then wh…o is sh…e?” he reposted, feeling uneasy.

Daniel folded his arms below his chest with a serious face, “that Lucas mate, his soon-to-be wife” Daniel answered.

Carl started sweating all of a sudden, “what, why didn't you tell me?” Carl retorted, and his legs started wobbling.

Daniel spread his arms, “I didn't know you are involved in shady things” he snickered and jogged into the station.

Luciana was hearing what they were saying even when they were some meters away from her, she blushed profusely when she heard Daniel calling her Lucas's soon-to-be wife.

Officer Carl ran to her and unclasped the handcuffs, his face ridden with horror, Luciana was surprised, “are you not taking me to the station anymore?” she asked confused.

Station my ass!

The officer said in his head, he wore a professional smile “Miss, we made a mistake, the police must make amend, you will be duly compensated” he said trying very hard to sound natural.

Before Luciana could comprehend what he was saying, he stopped a taxi and paid for it.

“Miss, this isn't all, we will also send you some gifts to show how guilty we are,” he said, acting like a PR of the police.

Luciana barely asked him what was going on when the taxi started driving to her apartment, she started speculating who her mate was, his identity gave her a headache.

Carl stood there without moving a muscle, praying very hard that Lucas doesn't find out about him arresting his mate.

He swatted the beads of sweat on his forehead and strode inside the station.

Daniel rushed and met Esther who was waiting for him with an indifferent look on her face “whenever you are sad, I always felt my heart churning, I feel suffocated” he lamented.

Esther narrowed her eyes “who is she?” she asked, Daniel understood the change of behaviour, and he chuckled “that is Lucas mate, are you jealous?” he asked grinning from ear to ear.

Esther rolled her eyes, “in your dream” she retorted and walked away.

Daniel ran after him, she suddenly stopped walking and grabbed his clothes.

“I misunderstood you,” she said with a girly smile, Daniel's heart started beating rapidly, and he made a face like he was wronged.

“Are you going to compensate me? You just ruined my dignity” he said with a soft voice, his eyelids lowered.

She nodded and covered his lips with her mouth, Daniel's heart leapt in joy, he deepened the kiss and grabbed her buttocks, fondling it roughly, Esther moaned into his mouth.

An officer coughed behind the two couples making out in the station, “get a room” he said and walked away.

Esther broke the kiss and blushed, Daniel grinned from ear to ear shamelessly, “we should try this more often” he said with a loud voice, making sure the officer who disrupted their fun heard it.

A punch landed on his face, making him stumble backwards and slumped on the wall, Esther turned around and strode away.

Lucas sat leisurely on the sofa with a glass of wine in his hand, he sipped it from time to time, and he glanced at his wristwatch.

“Chris, why don't you tell her to come and visit me in Coal City,” he told him.

Chris rattled his head in fright, “I won't dare that” he said in a resolute tone.

Lucas raised his hands in surrender, “then I have to leave, I have spent a lot of time here, I wasn't planning to stay this long” he told him.

Chris chuckled, “you missed her?” he asked teasingly.

Lucas's face darkened, “dude, I was just joking” Chris quickly added.

“Good” Lucas nodded, and reclined on the chair, he heard an engine sound approaching the house, and his eyes lit up.

Chris looked at him suspiciously, “Lucas, you promise me not to have s*x with her”

Lucas waved his hand, “I have promised you, I'll keep my words” he replied and grinned.

Just then, heavy footfalls approached the grand sitting room, the double doors opened, and several men in suits came in and stood by the sides.

A beautiful lady in a red gown, with heels, her smooth face, with a curvy shape, Lucas gawked at her lecherously, Chris felt uncomfortable.

“Lucas” she shrieked in excitement, and ran towards Lucas, Lucas stood on his feet and embraced her, and she blushed.

“Rose, what happened to the uncle you always call him” Chris chimed in, Rose rolled her eyes “Big bro, what are you saying?” she yelled with embarrassment.

Chris raised his arms in surrender, “don't blame me, I am just reiterating what you always call him”

Lucas took her arm “we shouldn't waste time here, let's leave” he said and held her arm walking towards the exit.

Chris used teleporting communication “Lucas, don't have s*x with her” he reminded him.

Lucas's lips curled up, and didn't bother looking back, Rose leaned towards Lucas coquettishly.

The two of them got out of the mansion, and her bodyguards ran after them, Lucas glanced at them, and Rose understood what he meant.

“Don't follow us,” she said, but her bodyguards were not confident of keeping Rose under Lucas's care.

“Miss Rose, Chris asked us to follow you” one of the bodyguards replied stubbornly.

Rose's face turned cold, she glared at them sternly, “stay back, I am going out for a date”

The bodyguards shook their heads, “no, we will go with you” the bodyguards insisted stubbornly.

Lucas tapped Rose's shoulders, “don't be agitated, go and wait for me in the car,” he said.

Rose walked to the car fuming, Lucas's eyes turned red, and he faced the bodyguards, when they saw his eyes they shrank their necks.

His lips started moving fervently, “tell Chris, I will send him the video of his sister sucking my d**k” he said, and turned around, and walked towards the car, he got in.

Chris's eight burly bodyguards turned around and slowly shoving their feet towards the entrance of the house.

They entered the house and met Chris sitting on a sofa smoking, his face was ashen when he saw the bodyguards.

He looked at their eyes and saw it was blank, “I will send you the video of your sister sucking my d**k” the eight burly bodyguards paraphrased Lucas's words.

Chris's eyes flickered, and the corners of his lips twitched, he started laughing and waved his arm, the bodyguard's eyes regained their normal colours and started looking at one another confused.

Rose was driving the car, while Lucas leaned on the other seat, his palm on her exposed lap, rubbing it tentatively, Rose blushed.

“Rose, you amaze me, I wasn't expecting you will be overgrown after just a few years,” he said and chuckled.

Rose pouted, “Lucas, don't you like my sexy shape?”

Lucas's eyes lit up, “I do, I feel like locking you up in my room and never letting you out so that others won't convert you” he commented.

Rose blushed, “you have a glib tongue, Lucas”

“Park the car, I want to feel the taste of your lips,” he said.

She stepped on the brake, and the car's tyres screeched, Lucas leaned and captured her lips.

She pressed the back of his head and deepened the kiss, Lucas's tongue shoved into her mouth, and licked searchingly, savouring the taste.

Rose moaned, “ooh!” when she felt his warm palm moving upward towards her crotch.

Lucas broke the kiss, and she looked at him in a daze, “after we finish eating” he told her and grinned.

Rose smiled brilliantly, “that was outstanding!” she exclaimed like a teenager, and floored the gas.

They arrived at a restaurant, the both of them have booked a private room while on their way.

While they were walking towards the entrance, a dashing man came out of the restaurant with seven tough-looking bodyguards.

The moment he set his eyes on Rose, his eyes lit up “Rose” he called out to her, she is a popular figure in the South City.

Rose frowned, Lucas put his hands in his pockets nonchalantly, the young man's eyes darkened the moment he caught sight of Lucas.

He walked to Rose, “what are you doing with a gigolo?” he was upset that Lucas is more handsome than him, and he wished nothing but to ruin his handsome face.

Rose, hearing him refer to Lucas as a gigolo, glared at him, “can you stop Evans? He isn't a gigolo” she responded angrily.

Evans pretended he didn't hear what she said and walked towards her fawningly “Rose, you are looking gorgeous, we can have lunch together, how about that?” he requested, disregarding Lucas's presence.

Rose retreated her slender arm in his hold and frowned at him, “don't you see I am on a date with him” she pointed at Lucas.

Evans pretended he didn't hear what she was saying and grabbed her wrist forcefully, “he will chat with my bodyguards, let's go in”

He tried to pull her away, and the six tough-looking bodyguards in suits came forward to attack Lucas.

Lucas opened his mouth, “no wonder she would rather not accept your proposal, you are mentally twisted” he sneered.

Hearing this, Evans's face was ashen, “what did you say?” he yelled at Lucas, disregarding his image.

People who were around brought out their phones to video the scene, Lucas shook his head “and you are also deaf” he commented.

Infuriating Evans more, the security men at the gate didn't dare to intervene, the presence of mighty figures of South City deterred.

Evans flew into a rage with his palm raised high to strike Lucas's face, “how dare you?” he hollered.

Lucas shifted aside, and he tumbled over, rolling on the steps until he collapsed at the end of the steps.

“Hahaha!”

The people who were videoing the scene couldn't help but laugh, they were expecting a thrilling scene but didn't expect their attacker to end up miserably before it even started.

Rose, who was boiling in rage, her face was flush, she didn't expect Evans to be dealt with so decisively even with his bodyguards around, she gloated over his misfortune.

“Boss” one of Evans's bodyguards ran to help him up to his feet, he struggled to his feet, leaning on the bodyguard for support.

The bruises on his face were coated with bright blood, and he grimaced in pain “beat him, beat him” he ordered his bodyguard viciously.

The five bodyguards standing before Lucas crackled their fists, and looked at Lucas menacingly, ready to pounce on him anytime.

Rose blockade him with her body, “don't dare, or I will call my brother” she threatened.

Evans was livid to see Rose thwart his plan of revenge, “Rose, damn you! Beat him up, don't hurt Rose, but beat the gigolo up” he yelled with all his strength and winced in discomfort.

Rose's eyes were red, “don't dare do that, do you know who he is?” she reposted angrily.

Evans hearing what Rose said his heart sank, and his face panicked, “Who is he?" he asked tentatively.

“Alright, we have had enough fun, let's go” Lucas tapped Rose's shoulder, Rose tilted her head and looked at his face.

“Don't let him leave, beat him up, beat him up” Evans yelled like a lunatic.

Rose walked towards the entrance door, Lucas followed, the bodyguards tried to attack, but couldn't feel their muscles at all.
