‘Raina! Wake up! Open your eyes!’ I heard Accalia shouting in my mind.
I felt my eyes heavy. I tried opening them, but I felt too exhausted. Instead, I tried to focus on my other senses until I find the strength to open them.
My body was stiff with my arms and legs in pain. My finger and toes were numb. That must be because of the accident. My head was pounding but I needed to focus. I tried to breathe, and I smelled the suffocating scent of sulfur. I felt the air in the room full of moisture but it wasn't cold. I focused on my hearing. I listened the faint chirping of birds. I must be near a forest. I, also, heard water flowing behind me. Maybe a river or a lake close to me?
