Chapter 7 As soon as they made it back to Aaron’s apartment—almost two hours after the EMT sent Xander away from the fire—Aaron gently pushed the other man toward the bathroom. They hadn’t lingered at the station long enough to shower. Which had been mostly Aaron’s doing, because he just wanted to get Xander home. He didn’t know if Xander would understand, so he didn’t mention it, but everything inside of him cried out to get Xander back to the safety of his apartment. “You go clean up. Are you hungry?
