Aventurine

May be it is not a dream after all. May be he is Augustus Light, the future heir of Aventurine. Yes!! There have been many discussions among scientists about the existence of another universe altogether. Otherwise how such sci-fi movies would be made?

Am I even in my right mind?

I have too many questions for Hideki but first I need to decide what choice I make.

Only then I guess Hideki will answer me. If he thinks that I am not interested in this kingdom kingship would he even bother to answer me.

No…I must look for answers.

Augustus left his room. Outside his room there weren’t any guards.

 “Wasn’t royal palace supposed to be filled with guards?”

Augustus figured out the correct door and when he got out he couldn’t believe what he was beholding before his eyes. It was a clear meadow as far the eyes could see. At the end of the horizon the sun was bathing in the minty blue waterfall. The sky was misty and if one would see keenly one could see the tiny droplets dancing all around. The sun was almost setting but it felt too bright to be dusk. It felt pure, somewhat mystic. He heard birds chirping, flying back to their nests. Tracking them with their eyes he saw a faint silver line across the sky almost forming an arrow. Where was the end or its beginning? Unknowingly Augustus started following the unending trail. He came along a stream on the way. He thought that his journey was over but to his dismay it looked to him that the arrow was floating away from him. He had reached the minty blue waterfall that looked to him so tiny before. Now the sky was slowing turning purple. At one corner of the sky, clouds were battling against one another and occasional silent thunders would appear. Chirping of birds was replaced by crickets singing melodiously.

It is magical!!

Augustus gasped and looked around. Hideki was standing behind him in his royal blue cloak.

What are you—were you following me ?

Then how did you know I was here?

I sensed you--- your energy, humans have life force, which makes their spirit… I sensed that and I found you.

You are new here so a lot of my sayings to you will be “nonsense” but I do not indulge in non-sense.

In fact I am here to take you back to the palace. It is night and unsafe for you here. You are still an outsider. Whatever your decision will be I cannot let you get any harm…

Augustus’ eyebrows furrowed down an inch.

Explain Hideki, and please stop with your riddles.

I told you before that Aventurine is the world that helps to harness spiritual power and can help one to become invincible. Everyone, everybody in aventurine has its own energy. One who is born in Aventurine can sense the energy of other living beings around them and can find them. It is not natural for everyone as it requires training that is provided to the students in schools along with their academics.

I have piqued your interest right??? Augustus?

Hideki paused. The silence was funny to him, as if he knew what Augustus would ask.

You said it is danger out here.  Let us head back first. Augustus replied.

Augustus had started walking when Hideki tapped on to his shoulder and in a blink of an eye both of them were inside the palace.

How did you do that??

 Hideki smiled slightly. Will the answer prevent you from going back?

How do you know if I am returning or not? I have not said anything about it.

Not required. You are in dilemma, you want to stay, a part of you believes that everything is real but a part of you longs to go back to your world and that part is dark…I cannot figure it out but there is an unfinished business.

Hideki’s eyes were glowing green and it seemed he was in trance. His right hand was resting in his chest. The room was silent and there was no external disturbance. It was difficult to figure out for Augustus.  He felt uncomfortable almost as if someone was standing behind him. He felt a chill down in his spine, and stepped back from that green figure.

Don’t be scared. I am your ally not enemy. I was trying to tap into your energy and was going to read it but something was blocking me. There are quite a few abilities that you can acquire if you stay and train yourself Augustus Light. I cannot force you to stay but I know that we need you the most. Everyone of  us, your kingdom needs you.

What happened to Lucas Light? My father—

Hideki looked down.

Is he dead? Augustus stared at Hideki with his eyes wide open in shock?

No---No one knows what happened to him exactly.

Then I will ask once again— will you live here with us, train, and take up the duty of your father of protecting the kingdom, from Behemoth? Only then can I tell you all the dark secrets of our kingdom. These thirteen years had been difficult. With all our might his majesty and I had done everything we could but with the throne vacant and with rising enemy it is time for someone capable to take in charge of the throne. I feel and am sure that it is you. Are you ready? I promise my life on your feet. I promise to bring out the best of your capabilities. But you must willingly accept to be a part of the spiritual realm, the world of Aventurine.
