Aeschylus, Diocles, and Photios followed Shadowmaster Whisper through the tunnels beneath Exitibus. Their leader had informed them earlier that they had been selected for a special assignment that was vital for the entire Shadow Guild. Their reactions had varied at this information. Aeschylus had received the news with suspicion, and he now followed the newly promoted leader of the destroyers warily. Not a particularly large man, he was nonetheless a team leader.
