Cautiously, Sapphire and David backed out of the cave. However, before Laurena moved she noted that the feeling of danger began reducing, so she remained still while Sapphire exited. David backed all the way to the entrance, and stopped. "Are you coming?" he asked worried. The warning of the pendant was extremely faint now, almost gone entirely, and she suspected the source. "Yes, I was just testing something," she replied, and followed her friends outside. The moment David was clear of the entrance the feeling vanished, which went far towards confirming Laurena's suspicions about the nature of the warning. Once all three were on the beach, standing in front of the cave once more, Laurena explained to them what the pendant had done. "So it is telling you to go in alone," Sapphire voice
