Caspian leaving the Queen's dorm felt elated and as if a heavy burden had been lifted off him. Now that he'd settled his differences with Queen Cordelia, he became light-hearted. It was past lunch but he had no appetite whatsoever, thus he proceeded to one place that he had been trying so hard to stay away from ever since.
Thump!
"Your Majesty!" The guards stomped the hits of their spear on the floor and praised when they saw Caspian approaching. These were not common guards but vice-captains since what they were guarding was definitely precious and without doubt supposed to be most guarded. There were up to four vice-captains rotating duty shifts around this vicinity and that was well above the usual one or two vices that guarded the queen's dorm at occasions.
