Aria's perspective
“Hey, you are awake.” I heard the resounding metallic voice but it wasn’t the voice of Neon.
When I opened my eyes expecting to see Neon, it was someone else. I squeezed my eyes shut when I realized where I was and the reason I was here.
“Aria, are you okay?” His voice came again.
It was Silas.
Where is Neon? And why is Silas here and not him?
“Where is Neon?” I asked tilting my head to the side, and asked. He was standing beside the bed with his hands on both sides of the bed.
He withdrew his hands and stood erect.
“He is in a meeting, he couldn’t make it else he would have been here. He asked me to take you home when you wake up.” He replied and shoved his hands into his pocket. His looks were skeptical but he said nothing.
