“Stop her!” Aihi thrust a blast of crimson light to intersect the net that had taken hold of the artificial spirit. Her ki slammed into the web, only to sputter out on contact.
She launched herself forward, eager to clear the distance between her and the netting. Drawing her katana from her irezumi, she flicked the blade at the amber rope. The edge deflected off the line as if it were made of metal, not pure energy.
