Catherine's POV.
The car halted in front of the mansion and Lucas was quick to step out of the car. I wanted to clarify things about the video but he doesn't seem interested in hearing me so the ride home had been a quiet one, a very quiet one.
Sighing, I stepped out of the car and banged the door shut so hard that if it had been removed, I wouldn't have wondered why.
"Lucas..." I called and he looked at me, before I could even say another word, his phone began to ring and he didn't hesitate to pick up the call and left me standing there like a lost puppy.
With fisted hands, I stomped my feet on the floor angrily, "What the hell is wrong with him?" I huffed, opened the car again, and reached for the tablet I had hauled on the car floor a few minutes ago.
