I looked up at him firmly and squarely, squinted my eyes, summoned my powerful voice, and declared, "MR. LUCAS LEONARD, I WANT TO SPEAK TO YOU RIGHT NOW AND YOU SHALL LISTEN."
His frown deepened and I could see him from the corner of my eyes dropping the book he was holding, then slowly but steadily, he began to take meaningful strides towards me and all my boldness evaporated because I began to take shaky steps backward.
