His brain started to work on overdrive as the young woman in the party is… Christina.
With that, he started to run towards the hall and looked at the center, where the crowd was circling someone. He saw a wet silver head.
“What f**k going on”, his loud voice boomed in the hall.
You can hear a pin drop, as a sea of people start to part, allowing him to walk towards his cousin.
He met a drenched Christina, who looked like a lost kitten and was still shocked by the drink that was thrown at her.
He took off his suit jacket to drape it around her, but a slender hand wrapped around his arm, when he looked at the woman, she acted like she was the one who was wronged, and she was close to busting into tears.
When he looked at Christina; she was looking at the woman with a pissed off look.
He put one-and-one together, and he got his answer; he harshly swatted her hand off of his arm.
He hugged Christina about to leave with her, but Jenny decided to open her mouth.
“Why are you helping her she is a liar, and she is busy flirting with other guys when you are not watching, she is shameless slu…” when she was done talking she was out of breath.
With a dark face, he turned to Jenny and growled out “I dare you to finish that sentence”.
He raised his perfect eyebrow, daring her.
She gulped hard, and then he grasped her arm with his free hand, pulled her in his face, and asked, while trying to keep his anger at bay.
“Who poured a drink at her?”. jenny looked at Onika.
He followed her gaze, then looked at Jung and said “Our collaboration is over.”
He then turned to leave.
People know not to mess with the Uchiha’s, but they are still shocked at why Jushiro would cancel and multi-million worth business collaboration for such trivial matters.
Jung came out of his shock when he saw Jushiro leave with Christina.
“What! Jushiro, wait, you can’t do this, you cannot end the partnership for a girl’s squabble”
He tried to convince him “Lets talk about this rationally.
He looked at him with disgust on his face.
Then he said, “Your fiancé does something to humiliate a girl, and you do not do anything. Are your family members such unruly and ignorant people, and this girl," He the pointed at Christina "and this girl here she is not just anyone she is my younger sister, and anyone who bullies her will get much worse than this.”
He said while looking at everyone, daring everyone to challenge him.
While they were shocked,
He said to them, “Pathetic.”
When they were about to exit the hall, a large screen showed Christina and Byakuya’s wedding videos and their wedding certificate.
At that moment, Christina forgot how to breathe and was close to fainting while looking at the screen.
The paparazzi started with the questions and photos, blocking their way.
The Kuchiki and Uchiha Security team came to help them to their car, away from prying eyes.
Once inside the car,
She burst out crying. Jushiro hugged her while she sobbed.
She sobs even harder when she thinks about the whole thing.
“Take us home”. Jushiro told his driver.
When the driver was about to start the car, a knock came on the window.
“Lord Uchiha," the Kuchiki security leader bowed his head in, greeting Jushiro
Before he greeted Christina. "Lady Kuchiki, Mrs Kuchiki said we should bring you back to the Kuchiki Estate”.
“She is going with me” he said with a stoic face.
“But Lad…” The leader of the squad was about to try and reason with Jushiro, but they were interrupted by Christina.
“It’s okay, Jushiro, grandma will take care of me”. Even though he doesn’t like the Kuchiki’s, he knows that the older woman is kind-hearted; she will take care of her.
After the incident today, he wants her next to him.
“Okay, I will drive you there, and that is final” Jushiro was not willing to leave Christina leave with them.
Then the leader of the squad then bowed his head at both them, and then he said, “We will lead the way, Lord Uchiha.”
By the time they reach the Kuchiki’s Estate, Christina has calmed down; well on the outside, but on the inside, she is having mixed emotions.
She doesn’t know which reaction to expect from the family member. However, she does know that she is going to be buried alive by her in-laws; especially her monster-in-law, let alone her oni.
Jushiro helped Christina out of the car and embraced her, then helped her up the stairs of the mansion.
Inside the mansion.
Anna let out a loud shrill to let out her anger.
“This is a disaster, such disgrace this child has brought us, how could she?”
Nezha rubbed his temples to numb the increasing headache caused by his wife’s loud voice, and to top it all, the media had a field day with the scandal. The phone is blowing up, and the emails are flooding in like the river.
“I knew it, it was a bad idea for that good for nothing witch to go to that dinner, she is just a power-hungry little slut. She just had to pull that cheap stunt secure her position in the family. She had to involve the media and show them those the slides and videos. She took it too far this time, and I will make her life a living hell for this. I was this close to achieving my goal.”
Due to her anger, Anna realized that she over shared.
