“Hey,” both cousins hug, then Jushiro kisses the top of her head.
Gasps resonate around the hall, and a chatter can be heard regarding the intimate gesture.
The other woman is angry as the spotlight is no longer directed at her but at the newcomer, that she resents to the core, for stealing the life should’ve been hers.
“She looks familiar,” says the lady in a purple dress, and she receives nods from other ladies.
“Yes, she looks like that young girl that was given the title of the youngest fashion icon at the age of 12.” says a woman in a tight-fitting red dress.
“Really! I am not surprised with how she is dressed up”. A woman in a loose and flowy purple dress gushes over how pure and beautiful Christina is. “She looks like a goddess, simple yet elegant.”
“Her name is Christina Lannister, the daughter of…” A woman is a green dress. She was about to brag about knowing her, but she is interrupted by a woman is a tight-fitting dress.
“Chastain Odinson Lannister”, says the lady in a white dress, she could not let the other woman have the stage to herself, she took the opportunity and was happy to see the pissed off look on the face of the woman in a green dress and whom has turned red due to embarrassment when the other women laughed at her misfortune.
“That family has good genes, I am jealous”. the other women could not help but agree and kept looking at Christina with envy.
“I know the feeling; I feel like I am over dressed for the occasion”. She woman is a tight-fitting blue dress said while making hand gestures to point at her body.
“She is so beautiful, now I feel like a troll with her in the building”. A woman in purple dress whined like a toddler.
“Not to mention that she is young, she will be desired by the whole male population, even Master Kuchiki will never let the opportunity to have such a rare beauty by his side, slide”. A woman in purple dress commented.
She must admit that even though it would be a dream to marry Master Kuchiki; she just can’t help but picture Byakuya and Christina together. They would make a picture-perfect couple.
“Are you kidding me, their children would like so out of this out of this world” a woman in a blue dress commented with dreamy eyes, as if she is in heaven.
With their comments, the other woman’s face turns livid, and she vows to make Christina pay and force her to leave Japan.
Other women don’t know that Master Kuchiki is already married to the young beauty they are praising. She must do something fast.
Then, a diabolical plan comes into her mind. An evil smile stretches on her face, and with a last glance at the unsuspecting victim, she starts to approach a group of ladies with an innocent smile.
“Christina, how was your week?” Jushiro asks her, they have not seen each other for two weeks, due to his traveling and school.
She answered with a smile, “You know same old, same old.”
With a soft laugh, he hugged his little sister, a look of adoration clear on his face.
“It must be tiring?” Jushiro asked her; seeing that as beautiful and elegant as she is, she still looks tired.
He is glad that he accepted the invitation after learning that it was Christina’s first engagement, he knew she would be alone in this room full of vile people; his little sister is too innocent to be preyed on by these vultures.
Christina replied with a heavy sigh, “You have no idea with fashion week and exams fast approaching, it will be hectic”.
She whined like a baby, earning a laugh from her brother.
“If you need any help, do not be stubborn to ask for my help.” He interrupted her as she was about to say something stupid.
“I know you, Christina, and I know that you are an independent woman, but we are all here for you; okay?”
After giving her brother a nod, she is tightly squished by him.
“Lady Lannister; hi ,you don’t know me, but I love your fashion sense and not to mention you are my role model. I am like your biggest fan, and your shoes are the WSH Limited Edition, God now I can go to sleep in peace after seeing them in person; I am glad I did not dodge this party, I had a good feeling about today. I mean, it was a sign that I had to be here. I don’t mean to be forward, but your fashion sense is out of this world, you are like an alien superstar; okay not that you are literally an alien but what I meant to say is…”
Both cousins laughed at her cute rambling.
“We definitely understand what you mean, and thank you” Christina said to the rambling girl.
She looked at Christina like she was an angel, her eyes were sparkling like a kid in a candy store, then she turned shy, her chubby cheeks turning all shades of red, when she noticed another figure next to Christina.
“Pleasure meeting you, and bye.” She literally ran like her dress was on fire.
“Bye, we don’t even know your name, and she is gone”.
Christina was still looking at the back of the unknown young woman while Jushiro was left bewildered by how fast she could run in those heels.

“I have no idea how she can run so fast in those shoes,” he said still in a daze, only to see his younger sister looking at him at with squinty eyes, as if warning him.
Her serious look only made her cute like a little kitten; that also earned her a pinch on the cheeks by her brother.
“Stop it” she tried to swat his hands from her cheeks.
Jushiro replied, “I can’t you are just too cute, little one.”
