BEFORE I GO HOME, I went to a fast food chain and bought spaghetti, chicken, and fries for Cathy.
We will celebrate…..
Excited, I was already walking the road to Ria’s house.
I was almost there when I saw a car and I knew that Ria’s man was still there.
I continued walking and when I arrived at Ria’s house I entered because the door was open.
"Ria? Cathy? Leo? Here I am!” I called but no one answered.
"W-don't! Don't do this to me!” I heard Cathy's crying scream so I was covered with nervousness.
I immediately ran to the room where I could hear Cathy's voice and crying. When I opened the door, my eyes almost went dark from the anger when I saw Ria's man harassing Cathy whose uniform was unbuttoned and she was not wearing a skirt and her panties were down.
I immediately took the flower vase from the side and quickly approached the man then hit him on the head.
"You animal! Animal! Shameless!” I screamed in anger and I couldn't stop crying because if I didn't get there, my sister would definitely have been raped. I immediately helped Cathy get off the bed and picked up her skirt.
"Sister…." She cried and hugged me.
“Shhh……Sister is here. "Don't be afraid," I told her while I was still shaking with anger and fear because something had happened to my sister.
"What happened here?"
I turned to the door and saw Ria who was with Leo.
"That man of yours is an animal! He almost raped Cathy!” I angrily told her that she covered her mouth and approached her husband who had regained consciousness.
"Henry! Tell me the truth! You raped Cathy?” Ria asked even more that I couldn't believe it. Did she not trust what I said?
"What? I didn't rape that girl, that girl seduced me! And who am I to refuse?" This male animal responded so I rushed.
I slapped and scolded him because I was so angry at what he was accusing my sister of.
Ria immediately pulled me away and I couldn't believe it when I looked at her , she slapped me.
"Your sister is the flirty one! She flirted with Henry!” she said angrily which made me laugh out loud.
"I can't believe you, Ria. You really sided with that guy more than us who you've known for a long time? You know and we both know that my sister is not flirtatious! So judge my sister like that....ha ha ha! That word actually came from you, huh?!” I said angrily to her as my tears continued to fall.
She looked away. "Go away, Emma. " she says.
“Yes! We're leaving here right now! Remember this, Ria, your man is a bigot, and if he was able to harass my sister, he can surely do the same to others. Thank you for watching over my sister and expect this to be the last time, " I told her and picked up Cathy and Umair's stuff before the three of us finally left.
When I left the house, we immediately walked away and stopped at a waiting shed, then I put Leo down on the chair.
My muscles are still shaking with the intensity of anger and pain I feel. I sat on the stone seat in the waiting shed and covered my face before crying.
"Sister...." Cathy hugged me so I removed my hand from my face and hugged her back.
"Sorry….I shouldn't have left you there. If I was caught, maybe what happened to you, " I cried to her.
"Sister, I don't want to be there anymore," she said so I let go of the hug and held his face full of tears.
"Tell me, Cathy, didn't the man touch you during the days when I left you there?" I asked because I couldn't forgive myself when I found out that that guy had been harassing my sister for a long time.
"No, Sister...But when I was there, I noticed that he was looking at me as if he was sexually assaulting me," she said as my lips quivered in anger with myself.
“Why didn't you tell me right away? What if I don't come right away and where are you?
Cathy!” I had a hard time telling her and I bowed down because I couldn't really forgive myself when something bad happened to Cathy or Leo.
"Sorry, Sister…. I just don't want you to think about where you're going to take us. And I also don't want you and Sister Ria to get angry, " she said bending down while holding the end of her skirt and twisting it as if pouring all her feelings there.
I looked up and looked at her. I hugged her and stroked her hair.
"Even if I think about where I'm going to take you, I'll do it, as long as you and Leo are safe. And even if Ria and I get angry and kill each other, I will do it. Because I don't want anyone to insult you. I won't let anyone hurt you," I told her.
"Sister, I'm hungry," Leo said so I looked at him and let go of Cathy's hug.
"Are you really hungry, youngest? I asked and held it in the face.
"Yes. It was just before noon," he said making my eyes widen. I looked at Cathy who looked away.
“Cathy, why didn't you eat lunch?
"Sister, because..."
"What?" I asked annoyed.
"Because Sister, I said okay Leo that we will eat at noon but I didn't know that she stole some bread but the owner beat her. So, she wouldn't be beaten, I paid my pocket money but mama (Ria's man) took all of it, " she said as she made me stand up and walk around because my chest seemed to be tight. I also stomped in annoyance.
"We're going to waste our lives!" I said annoyed and wiped away the tears that fell again.
I looked at the two and approached. I took our things and held them by the hand.
"I wish I had something to go home because . I wouldn’t have given you at Ria's house. But I will feed you in a good restaurant. And after we eat I will make sure that you will never experience hunger again," I said to them while pulling them.
I'm really looking forward to Max's offer. This is the only way to earn a lot of money and feed my siblings every day.
I don't want other people to mistreat my siblings. It's not because we are poor that they can easily eat my sister.
I hope that what was offered to me will go through. I wish.
