Chapter 19 “Why didn’t you talk to your mom?” Tiffany asked as she unclasped my overalls. “I don’t want to think about it.” When I saw the hurt in her eyes, I said, “Sorry. Just, not right now, okay?” She smiled, and then kissed my lips softly. “What do you want right now? Hmm?” My heart raced, and I glanced toward the closed bedroom door.
