CHAPTER 12

As Kan stood in silence, a faint whisper of memories echoed through his mind, transporting him back to that fateful day. His eyes glazed over, lost in the haze of nostalgia, as he recalled the moment he had inadvertently killed his heartthrob, his love. A wave of anguish washed over him, like a tidal wave crashing against the shores of his soul. His chest tightened as if the weight of his regret was crushing him. He felt like he was drowning in a sea of sorrow, unable to escape the pain he had caused. His mind replayed the memories like a broken record, each moment a fresh stab to his heart. He relived the laughter, the tears, the whispers of sweet nothings – all now taunting reminders of what he had lost. As the memories faded, the ache remained, a constant reminder of his heart's demise. He felt hollow, a shell of his former self, forever scarred by the weight of his past. The pain had become a part of him, a constant companion he couldn't shake. He became furious and annoyed, his dark blue eyes sparkling and twinkling. He moved towards the divine envoy conspicuously, his left hand shoved into his pockets while his right palm gripped his alluring sword tightily. The divine envoy smiled as he advanced to her. Every object he passed by shattered. As he raised his sword, the air around him began to distort, like the surface of a pond struck by a stone. A flash of white smoke burst forth from the scene. Arkush emerged from the blur, his movements a testament to his incredible speed. With an ethereal grace, he appeared in front of his mistress, his feet barely touching the ground, his eyes shone with a fierce determination, a faint shimmering of sparkling dust began to coalesce on his palm turning into a crystalline spear, pulsing with blue light and mystical energy. " Step aside!" She motioned to arkush as she remained calm, watching him approach her steadily. Kan-song closed in, his steps in accordance. He pointed the sword at her and was about to swerve it - to release a burst of magical impulses. Lord danvey smiled, showing off her white upper teeth. She tapped her index finger on the table, subduing him instantly, condemning his magical abilities and powers, deliberately discriminating him and causing him to feel irresponsible and downgraded, throwing him off balance as brown flames of magical impulses hit him hard, instilling internal injuries into his body. He was lifted into the air, and his sword disintegrated, proclaiming her might and authority over him and showcasing his reverence and loyalty. A white portal opened in the air, and he was thrown into it like a garbage. " What a slushy and sentimental love story." She said aloud, looking around the lonely mansion. The portal reopened, and kan-song fell. Down he went as he landed with a thud, the wind knocked from his lungs, amidst a shower of shrubs and splintered wood. For a moment, he lay there, in a garden, stunned and disoriented, the world spinning around him like a pottery wheel that had no balance. He listened cheerfully to the soft whistling sounds of birds flying above him, unaware of his surroundings as he let the cool warm breeze descend on him. " You could have come through the door, not trying to scale the fence. " A tiny, sweet, melodious voice rang out from a corner. His heart skipped a beat, and he immediately rose to his feet, raising his head to scan the surroundings. He saw her. Her eyes sparkled like diamonds in sunlight, radiating warmth and kindness, her smile, so contagious, able to lit up the heart of all men. " Hey...he...llo" He stammered.
