The Seven Days

WHAT WAS THAT ?

Only to once again open my eyes in the bedroom of Aaron and surprisingly saw him sleeping beside me which once again shocked me as I was really unable to figure out anything and when I looked at the clock, I came across fact that it was just 2 AM and hence I decided to just have a fresh air because I thought that it was just my dream which I must have seen

But then when I went near the windows of the bedroom and opened it to have some fresh air flow inside the room, then I saw my hands in the moonlight which was beautifully sprinkling its elegance in the whole world and I came to know that there are marks on my hands which seemed like as if someone has injected something or have given me injection

As when I touched it no sooner it started paining which also made me realize that the injection marks are fresh as if someone has injected it a while ago but before I could try to figure out anything further suddenly I heard voice of Aaron,” Where are you baby ?”

Which made me realize that he must be finding me on the bed as in a matter of few days he developed habit of sleeping only if I used to keep my head on his chest and then he is wrapping me in his arms because of which I without any further delays went near him and slept by keeping my head on his chest

But when I looked at his arms to my amazement even his arms were also having same condition as of my arms as it also had marks of something which felt like that of an injection which I never ever saw before which put me in more suspicion about what was actually going on in my surroundings ?

But I just decided to sleep because the very next morning we had an important meeting in the office because of which we were supposed to go little earlier in the office for preparing presentation to display it before our clients and it was almost 2:30 AM, and hence I also slept once again only to open my eyes in the morning

And realize that actually I was late for the office and hence decided to get ready as quickly as possible only to stumble upon note of Aaron which I found near the clock on the table on the left side of the bed.

Which read, " you were sleeping very peacefully, so I thought not to wake you up and I hope to catch you soon in the office and let me also inform you that the meeting which was about to take place today has been cancelled due to some reasons and hence you really don't have to worry so take your own time and see you soon in the office”

After reading the note I got calmed down because of which I now started doing my work slowly and in the process I also decided to enjoy the coffee which I haven't due to some or the other reasons from past few days so without wasting even a single second

I just prepared coffee for me and once again I sat before TV in order to just look at what is the news and what is going around in the world and suddenly once again when I put on the TV with the help of the remote which was kept on the table right in front of me I came across the newspaper which I saw last night once again

And now I decided to read it as now I didn't have any type of interference of anyone in the room, so I picked up the newspaper and started reading the headlines which I read last night and after reading the whole gist of the headline I came across the fact that around eight years ago in different parts of the world

Different people started behaving very oddly because of which the scientists have to conduct experiment on them but this fact was totally hidden from rest of the world outside until and unless one of them escaped from the experiment cell and came before media and told each and everything about what was happening to them in the name of experiment around 1 year ago

But I really didn't find anything so much important in that case, so I ended up on keeping the newspaper down and soon I got ready and within a matter of an hour I reached in the office where I came across fact that actually the meeting is about to start in few minutes

“ What the hell is going on here ?, I mean I found your note in the room which said that there is no meeting and when I come here you are telling me to prepare for the presentation”, I confronted Aaron when he told me to prepare for the meeting which was about to begin in few minutes

“ I know darling but even I also got to know about this particular fact just half an hour ago and now we have to prepare for it at any cost because it's very prestigious presentation for our company which can change its level in the market which is filled with competitors who are trying to put it down”, he told me

So not having any other option I just ended up agreeing with him and I went into a one of the cabins which was totally blank means there was no one except me in order to prepare for the presentation which was about to begin in next few minutes

And while I was still preparing for the presentation suddenly I from the corner of my eyes came across something which seemed very much familiar to me which means that I thought that I must have seen that particular thing or scenario even before in my life

But I was really unable to figure out what exactly that was because it was outside the cabin in which I was sitting and as the cabin had blurred glasses on it, so I was really unable to figure out what exactly that thing is

Anyhow not paying much attention to it, I once again paid attention for my presentation and just after a few minutes Aaron once again came to me and informed me that the presentation is about to begin, so I have to go in the room and present it before everyone

And as per his orders I also went into the presentation room and one by one the boss started introducing me with other clients who have come for the presentation and suddenly once again something strike me and when I came across the fact which was I'm randomly playing in my mind I also came across the fact that the thing which was very much familiar to me was none other than one of the clients who had come for the meeting

As he was none other than the guy who had the insurance policy of hundred million dollars in our company and whom I even tried to look at few months back and finally I came to see him standing before me as that day I just saw him from the back side as I totally missed him from the front side and along with this I also came to know about his name which was Mr Jack Bukater

I really don't know what went wrong with me that day but soon after looking at Jack I got kind of mesmerized with his persona which was even more attractive than that of Aaron when I saw him for the first time

anyhow I just completed my presentation without any further delays and to everyone's surprise and hope my presentation was successful as the clients got ready for the partnership with my company which was really very big opportunity for our company to grow

“ I must say that you are not just beautiful but also equally talented as well Miss Rebecca Johnson”, Jack told me while forwarding his hands for handshake as everyone started congratulating each other for the success

And I also responded him with the warmth but to my amazement the very next moment I shake my hand with him suddenly he hugged me which was kind of shock for me, but anyhow even I was also equally surprised as well as happy that in such a short period of time I completed the presentation very well and because of me the company is going to put new steps further in the progress lane

And once again after a shift of the whole day we finally came back to our house in the evening but that day Aaron was looking kind of frustrated as well as tensed because of some unknown reason to which I tried to know the reason from him, but he tried to ignore it but when I insisted and force him then finally he spoke about what is exactly going on in his mind

“ Why the hell were you looking at that guy as if you know him from last birth only ? “, he asked me with the anger in his voice

“ Whom are you talking about?”, I asked him out of baffled mind

“ I am talking about that b****y man Jack Bukater, who was looking at you like a hungry lion this morning in the presentation and not just that, but he kept talking you till the whole presentation got over and finally he even hugged you which you didn't even try to oppose, I mean what was going on? “, he once again questioned me out of frustration

“ What the hell are you speaking about Aaron ? , do you even have idea of what are you talking ?, I mean he is our client and what's the big deal if even hugged me ?, please don't make issue of this thing”, I shouted at him when I finally came to know about the intentions behind his question

As I really didn't want to spoil my mood as I was really very happy with the success which I got that day in the office, so I just went out of the room and stood near window in the hall looking outside at the beautiful nature and I got so lost in the beauty of the nature that I stood there till 11 PM which I finally realized when I got call of Mary on my phone

“ Hey honey how are you doing ?”, Mary asked me from the other side of the call

“ I am OK what about you ?”, I replied to her question with a bit of dullness in my voice

“ At least don't lie to me because I know how you feel and when do you feel so just tell me what exactly is happening to you ?, did you had fight with Aaron ?”, she asked me after detecting the dullness in my voice

In response to which I told her everything whatever happened this morning and it's result as well because of which Aaron created an unwanted fight between us and hence I came near window in order to avoid that fight

And after talking of about 5 minutes she hung up The call as she had some important work to do and I also after disconnecting the call looked at the phone finally realizing that it's 11 p.m, but anyhow I was really not interested in having even dinner because just after our fight Aaron went out of the room and didn't come back

And while I was still thinking about the same suddenly I heard someone entering inside the room but before I could look behind of exactly who is entering before that suddenly someone put a blindfold on my eyes and the very next moment I heard the voice of Aaron
