The definition of limbo is an uncertain period of awaiting a decision or resolution, an intermediate state or condition, and never have I felt this so acutely. When the call came in to say that the jury had reached their verdict we were excited to find out what the outcome would be. But then we were told that court would not reconvene until Monday morning and that meant a whole weekend stretched ahead of us knowing that the answer we were hoping for was just out of reach.
