Kai and Koe are Kitsune Twins, and they have been training their whole lives to be assassins. Neither wanted a mate, until Kai met her by random chance. Kad, a broken Werecat who lost her whole family, including her sister, was subject to slavery until she was released by Kai. Discovering he was her mate, she couldn't stay with him, putting his pack at risk. She did what she could to run away to survive, and to find her sister who was lost.
Kida ripped from her sister when her parents were killed when she was just six years old. She was supposed to be murdered by the pack Beta, but he instead spared her life. She was given to another Werecat pack, to the Alpha and Luna, who were not able to have children of their own adopted Kida, and made her their Heir. However, she always knew she had a sister, and just didn't know how to find her.
Koe watched as his brother changed completely after finding his mate, and then she had to run away. He vowed never to find his mate, or claim her. Will his views change when he finds her? Will he be able to resist the mate bond?
