Chapter 3

Li Haozhe found Chen Nuo to be conservative and lacking in excitement, but Chen Nuo was just scared. He wanted to find the perfect moment to talk to his boyfriend about his physical issues, but then the other cheated on him. Chen Nuo was practically crying as he kissed the man, his rationality collapsing, pouring out all his fears: "I can do it too." The man on top of him kissed him passionately, leading him step by step into the abyss of desire. Suddenly, Chen Nuo felt his ear being bitten, warm breath spraying onto his already highly sensitive earlobe: "Relax, sweetie." "But it hurts," Chen Nuo whimpered. The man chuckled deeply and then gently grazed Chen Nuo's nose: "Little crybaby." The little crybaby clung to his neck, whispering each word, "What if I have a baby? Will you think I'm a freak?" Su Cheng's mind was nearly losing control, but his upbringing held him back from being too rough. Yet the words from the little crybaby beneath him were laced with innuendo. What baby? It sounded more like lovers' teasing—some even liked being called 'daddy' in bed. Of course, he was a man too. Dirty talk in bed could be quite the turn-on, so Su Cheng couldn't resist and thrust deeply into the little crybaby, his cries becoming more fragmented and stoking the fire in Su Cheng's heart. In his haze, Chen Nuo only heard the creaking bed and the continuous heavy breathing in his ear. He indulged himself, but something felt off. Perhaps... Li Haozhe wouldn't have been this patient with him. Waking with numb legs from a night of passion, Chen Nuo's brain was foggy. He saw himself in someone's embrace but didn't look closely, lifting his head for a few seconds before lying back down to snuggle into the man's arm. Last night's excessive drinking combined with intense activity left him exhausted. He mumbled, "So tired," thinking the man was still asleep, and intended to doze off again. But then he noticed the arm he was using as a pillow and his eyes widened in shock. "Who are you?" Chen Nuo jumped out of bed, but his legs were weak and he rolled onto the floor. When he turned to see the man in bed, Chen Nuo was too stunned to breathe—it was Su Cheng. Su Cheng was just as shocked, quickly getting out of bed to make a phone call. By the time he turned around, Chen Nuo had vanished. An assistant rushed into the suite and, seeing the disarray, hesitated to speak, "Mr. Su..." Wearing a bathrobe provided by the hotel, Su Cheng sat in a chair with a cold expression, the marks on his face and neck evidencing the night's intense activities. "Where were you last night?" The secretary arrived with clothes, also startled by the scene. The assistant stammered, "You were with that man last night, hugging him, and I... I didn't dare..." What's done is done, Su Cheng thought. He dressed and glanced at the secretary. "Check the room for any issues." Five minutes later, the secretary, wearing gloves, emerged with a small camera. "It was hidden in the charging socket opposite the bed, Mr. Su." "This is not how business should be conducted," Su Cheng said, handling a student ID card. He handed it to the secretary. "Head back to Kyoto, and investigate if this boy was set up." Studying at Qingjiang Academy of Fine Arts, yet found in such a place. Chen Nuo ran out of the hotel in a daze, wearing disheveled clothes. Passersby looked at him as if he were crazy. "How did this happen?" Chen Nuo couldn't remember anything clearly. He only recalled being in bed with Su Cheng, kissing and hugging, and then fear gripped him. He couldn't think any further. With his body aching and his spirit broken, Chen Nuo requested a week's leave from his class teacher. He wanted to rest for a week, but reality didn't allow it; it was harsher. After two days of dazed rest, Chen Nuo received a call from the club. "Chen Nuo, you don't need to come in this Friday." Chen Nuo carefully moved, avoiding aggravating his injuries. "Manager, what happened?" "Nothing much, just that you don't need to work anymore. Your salary will be transferred to your account." "Manager..." Chen Nuo tried to speak, but the line went dead. He then contacted Xiaozhou through the work group chat, who was initially reluctant to talk. "It's not the manager who wants you gone; it's Young Master Hu. It has something to do with that night," Xiaozhou explained hesitantly. "That important guest was Su Cheng, the heir of the Su Corporation. Hu Shao wanted to connect with him, but now he's blaming you for their fallout." The details were unnecessary. Hu Shao dared not vent his anger on Su Cheng and took it out on Chen Nuo. Soon after, Chen Nuo received his October salary. He sat on his bed for a long time, numb to the pain in his lower back. He laughed bitterly. Not long ago, he had imagined celebrating the New Year with Li Haozhe, but in less than a month, everything had changed. He didn't even have the strength to cry. Chen Nuo spent the afternoon in his dormitory, packing his few clothes into a suitcase. Calmly, he opened his laptop to search for a new place. Reality forced him to keep moving forward, and he needed to find a new job. After breaking up with Li Haozhe, Chen Nuo calculated his funds. He didn't have much left. Since he often came back late from part-time jobs, dorm life wasn't convenient. Also, he wasn't very talkative, making living alone a better option. But this meant more expenses. With money going out and none coming in, he would soon starve. Finding a place was crucial, so despite his discomfort, Chen Nuo spent the third day of his leave with a real estate agent, looking at six apartments. He finally chose a master bedroom in a suite with a private bathroom and a large balcony. Only the kitchen was shared. Because it was a new place in a somewhat remote area, the rent was 2100 yuan a month, with a deposit and three months' rent upfront. The apartment was clean. When the landlord came to sign the lease, Chen Nuo negotiated, "If I pay six months upfront, can you lower the rent a bit?" The landlord hesitated but eventually agreed, persuaded by the agent and convinced by Chen Nuo's polite student demeanor. "You plan to stay long-term?" Chen Nuo nodded, "Yes, long-term." The lease signed, Chen Nuo felt a weight lift. As he touched the new desk, he thought this could be a fresh start. Li Haozhe's mistress was a flight attendant from a wealthy family. Chen Nuo considered demanding his money back but didn't dare risk his future. He had no safety net or family support. He had nothing left. On his way back to school, Chen Nuo called the dorm leader, "I'll come by later to pick up my things." Thinking of the care he received in the dorm, he stopped by KFC to buy some food. Carrying bags in both hands, he slowly approached the male dormitory. Just as he crossed the road, he noticed a flashy red car parked at the school gate. It seemed familiar, but he didn't dwell on it until he was stopped at the entrance. "Where do you think you're going?" Hu Shao swung one leg out of the car, half his body still inside, smoking a cigarette. He exhaled smoke arrogantly in Chen Nuo's direction, "I've been looking for you."
