They’re rioting all over Anchorage.” Kennedy didn’t bother to tell her mom that she’d been too busy running from attackers, dodging falling trees, and trying not to die of hypothermia to worry about what was going on in other parts of the state. “I’m just glad you finally got hold of us. I called Willow’s home yesterday. They said they hadn’t heard from you either. Your dad and I have been so worried.
