Vanika, Vani dear please my child come help me. Ms. Vedashree called her playing child from the Palace kitchen window.
I'm coming mother, Vanika is coming
The little child said in her singsong voice.
Vani help me with this take it to the Prince, it's his dinner.
Okay mother...when I come back what will you give me...the little girl said with a smile on her face.
Well my dear Vanika, I will teach you how to make the Witches brew.
Wow mother, really?
Yes my child.
I'm only seven and I know how to make the witches brew...I'll be the envy of all the witches and my friends too mother.
Yes dear....now now run along....don't let the Prince food get cold.
Okay mother....I'll be back in a jiffy
Vanika flew from the Kitchen to the Prince room.
Outside the door she heard the sound of the whip.
Ahhhh.....
I am your father and you will obey me.....
Whip....
See this as me making you stronger..
Whip..
From now on you will no longer leave the Palace walls..
Whip
How dare you go against my orders
Vanika stood at the door shaking and eavesdropping on their conversation.
After a while The King came out with a Silver Whip in his hand and flesh on the Whip
Long live King Dracula, Long live..the little girl greeted the king.
Stay blessed.
Vanika walked into the room and dropped the food on the table, she looked and saw the Prince in painsThe Prince was writhing in pain on the floor.
She saw the handsome Prince with his red hair mated to his pale skin and and his Turquoise blue eys filled with pain.
His skin was torn and the mark of the whips visible. Even in pain he still looked handsome
He looked up to see the mysterious strange beauty who only appeared when he needed help.
Her long black hair and innocent face gave him comfort, her Hazel nut brown eyes filled with her emotions.
You're here again..Pretty...leave if he finds you here he'll kill you...please leave for my sake...
He was stopped midway when she placed her fingers against his lips and shook her head.
Her hair lifted him from the bed and she took a piece of dress from his wardrobe.
She laid him flat and tended to his wounds, cleaning them as he groaned.
She ran her fingers all over his back and said the healing spell as his wounds closed back and his back became fresh again
She sat him down and fed him and he could only look at her lovingly.
When she was done she laid him on the bed and left him to sleep
Why don't you talk whenever we are together? I've never heard your voice.
She just looked at him and sighed.
Will you please sing me a song?
She walked back to the bed and placed his head on her small leg and caressed his hair.
My mother always says that when please is added before a request then you should do it. Vini said
? Our eyes are a mirror of our emotions ?
? Our tears speak words our lips can't pour?
? It comes from our heart yet we can't tell ?
? The anger of Death as it keeps us in a cell ?
? A cell of anger and pain and regret ?
? It causes us to lash out on our beloved ?
? But with love we can conquer and Once again love ?
Dracula stood at the door as he watched the scene going on inside.
Tears fell from his eyes as each word seemed to pierce his heart
He walked away from the door and Vani looked at the door she had composed the song for the king and not his son.
She placed the sleeping Prince on the bed and walked back to the kitchen with the empty plate.
When Vedashree saw her daughter she knew once again that something had happened.
She drew Vani in for a hug and patted her hair.
Come let's go home dear.
When they got to the maids quarters they took out the key to their house.
It consisted of Four bedrooms and a kitchen
Since it was only Vanika and her mother one bedroom was turned into a*****e and the other a potion room.
As they settled down for dinner Vini picked her food
Mother why does the king always beat up Prince Markus all the time?
My dear you're still too young to know some things.
Mother but I'm seven please tell me.
You see dear....the king recently lost the queen and he is in great pains dear..that is why he is behaving like this.
He vents his pain and his anger on anyone and anything nearby
But mother he treats Prince Markus as I he is a bastard.....
Vanika Please don't let anyone hear you say that or we will be killed
I need a head massage...a nice warm bath and a sleep in my lovers arm.
Meanwhile.....
Mother had gone to bed now and she must be with that mystery man.
Vini got up and walked to the wall...she sliced her palm and placed it on a particular spot and it opened.
It opened into the ruins of a library.
Mother told me this place was once inhabited by the most ruthless and great ancient witches of all time.
They were also very powerful and great that every other supernatural being feared them....
I guess this is their library....
I've been visiting here for quite some time now and I hope mother doesn't find out.
She walked deeper into the Library and came across a book that was floating in a dark light
She reached for the book and dusted it.
It was very old and dusty and the pages were almost fading.
Oh...its written in the Divine language...its a good thing I learned the divine language from this good library
What does it say?
The little girl placed her small hands on the book cover and read it out....
The Dance of Destruction, Hell and Death...
Immediately she read it out the book opened and dark light illuminated from it.
It flew and entered straight into the chest of Vini causing the little girl to pass out and ripples to flow throughout the entire Kingdom.
Vanika...Vedashree and Dracula shouted as they ran to check on their daughter and they saw her sleeping sweetly on her bed.
Thank goodness she's okay. Dracula said as he hugged Vedashree
Come on let's go shall we? Vedashree pulled Dracula as they walked out of the room
Vanika opened her eyes and they flashed the three colours of fire.
Blue, orange and red.
She closed her eyes and drifted into a deep sleep
