“He’ll be here any second now.” Veda informed the guards standing outside the strong room while he smoked a cigar in despair. “Roger that, weapons hot!” The last remaining commander said, turning off his gun’s safety. Distant screams alerted the guards. There were thirty of them, waiting to battle only one man. The screams became less distant as the time passed, and the smell of sweat filled the corridor. And then, they heard a soldier shout near the corridor entrance. It was followed by the sound of a neck breaking and the soldier who was screaming suddenly went silent.
