THE MONEY

Anastasia Willoughby a lady in the registration office called out.
Anastasia rose her right hand and said "Yes, that's me!
"Come here please" the lady said .
Anastasia rose from her chair and quietly went to the office,
Ok Miss Willoughby the manager will see you in 5 minutes time so please have a seat and make yourself comfortable " the lady in the big office chair assured her with a welcoming smile.
She offered Anastasia something to drink which she declined with a gentle smile and said her thank you.
Anastasia took a seat in the waiting chair in a corner adjacent to the lady in the registration's desk, she sat but couldn't comply to the fact that it's been 5 years, she can't help to think something might go wrong with the money, just as she was in her thoughts she was brought back to earth by the lady in the registration office, who kept calling her name but lack of attention and panick caused Anastasia to not hear.
As soon as she was brought out of her thoughts the lady asked her politely if she was ok , Anastasia replied with a smile assuring the woman that she is perfectly alright, then the lady proceeded to give Anastasia the news that the manager will be seeing her now, as soon she said this Anastasia couldn't help to think if this was a mistake and that she should head back home, but her heart wouldn't allow her, so she thanked the lady and followed her in an abrupt manner to the manager's office and the lady excused herself.
After the lady left Anastasia was standing and fidgeting with her necklace praying within her for all things to fall in it's appropriate manner.
Sit please!' the manager seated behind a big wooden desk along with a medium size office leather chair " said, Anastasia didn't hesitate and nodded, after she took her seat the manager said her name to confirm she was the one and asked her for her I.D card and verification documents.
Anastasia immediately took them out of her bag and gave it to him, he checked and nodded in affirmative,closed the file and called out a name "Mira" in a swift motion came a lady dashing in and utter the words "Sir" ,the manager handed the file to Mira who was none other than the lady in the registration office, who gladly accepted it and left seconds later she returned with the file and a white paper which Anastasia presumed as the information she is looking forward to , and she handed it over to the manager and was dismissed by him, after Mira's dismission the manager proceeded further to give the information to Anastasia and said Miss Willoughby
" mmmhh !!! he cleared his throat and continued, as we both are aware you are her for account countabase, Anastasia nodded in affirmative and listened to what was next to be said by the manager
Well according to the database here you have no money in your inherital account " the manager said .
The words of the manager rang in Anastasia ears , it was as though her world went blank , the news was just as shocking as unbelievable to her.
WHAT !!! how is this possible !!?" Anastasia couldn't help but yell .
Her heart was racing but the anguish and heartache was pounding with the same pressure.
Well come down , take a deep breath Mrs Willoughby " the manager said to suite the tension rising in her voice,
"How could he even possible say that to her , come down !!! 'Take a Deep breath" all these words that fell out of the Manager's mouth felt so offensive to Anastasia but she has to keep her cool cause this was an office and any inappropriate behavior could be thrown outside .
So she decided to listen to his explanations.
After realizing the calmness Anastasia was portraying the manager knew very well tht this is his queue to explain things too her or she might burst out in flames again.
He further proceeded to explain the reason ,
"When you take a look at the information here it says that the money has been withdrawn 4 years ago ...
Wait , What are you saying !? Anastasia cut his words short.
Manager am sure there must be a mistake or else there's a very logical explanation for this " Anastasia desperately wanted to find meaning in what he was saying cause to her it was all nonsense.
How is this possible, cause I know for a fact that in those past 6 years I wasn't the legal age to possess the money left by my parents when they died " she said with duerish confidence in her voice .
The manager simply replied "I don't know !
That was it for Anna , this is simply madness , she wanted to Respect the policy's of the bank cause she could get thrown out but hearing him say those words - it was a red button push!
HOW CAN YOU NOT KNOW , TELL ME !!! Anastasia boomed.
Miss Willoughby please come down !' the manager said .
HOW CAN YOU TELL ME TO CALM DOWN !!! Anastasia said almost in a scream.
Well miss according to the information written here it states that 4 years back a bunch of two people came here claiming to be your authorized guardian with complete - " CLARIFICATION TO BE TRUE" and asked for the money to be immediately transferred to their account for your future use and we did as we were told and transferred it to their account , so I'll advice you to go discuss this with your guardians " the manager said .
Upon hearing this Anastasia uttered the words "AUNT " !
Anger drawn on her face , Anastasia emerged from her seat , existed the Manager's office without another word , she strode through the passage way and down the hall not stopping to say a thank you or goodbye to Mira who hosted her so well and left the bank in a rapid movement,
Mira on the other hand didn't mind because she saw a burge of rage in Anastasia eyes before she left and besides that was her job after all , people came in and say bye or thank you before leaving and others don't so it wasn't a big deal for her.
