A stark black uniform sits in front of me. Something is familiar about the shapes and colors there. My body continues to stare at a button on the cloth and mentally I imagine the button elsewhere. "Sarah?" A rough voice enters my ear. What a sound. Familiar as well, but different. Pictures of a blue tarp fill my mind. I groan internally but don't fight the images. They flash by so quickly it's easy to ignore them and let them meld into one floating strip of color. "Sarah, it's Officer Bradley." Suddenly the images stop and a giant image of dead, open eyes gaze at me. I mumble and the voice nearby continues. "I don't know if you can understand me, the doctors here say that you don't respond to anything and that it will probably do more harm than good, but I think you deserve to know." I p
