The operators departed the US embassy. Uncle Bill, still on video conference from Ft. Meade, said, “Miss Stiel? Everything hinges on you finding that device. The SEAL team won’t be able to wait off the coast until you have the exact location. The first phase of the Israeli invasion into Lebanon is imminent. In SEAL parlance, they’re not going to be able to standby to standby. There’s not enough time.”
She nodded at him.
“We know the general area where the device is currently located, but we need you to pinpoint its exact location. To intercept, the teams will deploy immediately into an area just south of Sarafand, Lebanon. That way they’ll be in close proximity to the device, and possibly be able to intercept it as it moves south toward the Israeli border.”
