The Raven glanced down at his cellular phone to see who was calling. He immediately recognized the caller as the one he knew only as Codename Vipera. He tapped the screen to answer, held it to his ear, yet said nothing.
“How could you have f****d this up so badly?” Vipera said. “She’s disappeared. She fled her apartment, right under the noses of those two you sent after her. Now the local Tel Aviv police are investigating the shooting, which occurred in broad daylight, I might add.”
