23 “My work at the Mossad involves nuclear physics,” Talia said. “But let’s just start with the last two days of my life.” Talia began to recount the emotional roller coaster of terrifying events: the story her grandfather had revealed, his murder at the hands of a scar-faced man who had then come to kill her, followed by the two agents who had shot at her as she fled her apartment.
