Jana made her way back to the situation room and over to the desk where Knuckles was seated. Cade sat just across and turned as he saw her enter. They had been involved in a prior relationship, but that was a long time ago. The tension between them, however, was as palpable as ever.
Jana leaned over Knuckles and looked at his computer monitor. “How’s it coming.”
“Still working on it. I’ve got the digitized scan here. The computer is chewing on the crypto variable now.”
