A couple of months later:
April's Pov:
I had graduated college, a few weeks ago with a major in Literature. I started working on my novel, a couple of weeks ago and so far had made no progress, except the title and the storyline. Maybe I needed clarity, to clear my head. After college I had a few things on my list, that needed to be done. I wanted to travel and write my novel. These were my priority. I needed an escape. But I couldn't bring myself, to spontaneously run away, despite how much my heart desired to. Something told me that I should stay.
I wanted a sense of adventure, a sense of freedom. I had no inspiration, like my mind was blocked. I refused to think.
I took a walk round the town, taking pictures of the surroundings, somehow calmed me. I liked appreciating the beauty, that was pleasing to the eye. No matter how many times I walked around the town, trying to find a different route, to lead me to a different destination. But somehow I wound up at the same place like magic: The port over looking the sea. It's seems amazing right, how a particular person or place can transport you, to somewhere new or to a place or person, you can call home.
The sun dimmed along the horizon, the waves calming my mind, in an instant. It never failed to unnerve me. It never failed to mesmerize me.
But then as the sun set, leaving darkness in its wake I saw a shadow. As I looked up a saw a man, with eyes as deep and mysterious, as the ocean that lay beyond.
Alexander's Pov:
I gave up all hope. But then Lucas and James convinced me to try one last time. But I got the message. This was a try that was full of desperation. The only place I hadn't searched was California. I was desperate to find her. I would do whatever it takes, even it means searching through the ends of the Earth. I had no hope. I searched the one vampire territory, that was in Cali willing to help. The Freedom Coven. It's leader Carter Wall, extending us the invitation of residing in the coven, whilst searching.
I wanted to stop this. It seemed like a forceful search. I wanted to end this. It was up to fate to take me to her. I was walking aimlessly around town, till I reached the port, where the blue sea stretched for miles. The sea always calmed me down. As I stared into the distance, I noticed a girl sitting on the dock, staring with a thoughtful expression, lost in thought.
As I went closer, I had a feeling I couldn't deny, nor control.
The more closer I went, the more I pulled, towards her.
As the sunset faded, and my shadow fell upon her features.
She looked up and I fell in love...
In love with my soulmate...
