“I heard that you canceled it.”
Those words never even occurred to Anastacia. Why would she even go that length just because of a canceled appointment? Jamie was being absurd in Anastacia’s mind, but she could also clearly see that he was as serious as she was. If someone played a trick on them, that person would surely receive a smacking from her and Jamie.
