“It’s fine, Vivi. This won’t take long…”
Vivi could only flinch when Anastacia mentioned her name. There is not a single smile on the latter’s face as she scans the people around her.
It was the very first time that Vivi ever saw Anastacia wearing such an expression. Peter and Sarah’s thoughts were the same as when they stepped out of the house. There is a sickening atmosphere between them and no one is able to say a word to the oldest woman in the group.
Sarah and Peter could only give Vivi a side glance to explain the situation that they are in. It was not hard to guess that Anastacia asked the two to leave her and Leon while they discussed the past they shared together.
It was reasonable, indeed, but Vivi’s fear was going nowhere.
