A week passed by and not a word from Jamie made it to Anastacia’s place. She even did her best to make sure that her pantry is packed full just in case the man inspects it again.
Sweet potatoes aside, Anastacia scavenges through the fields to find something edible. It could be leftover fruits or some other edible plants that she picked around the house. Anastacia is aware that those are not impressive at all, but it will be better than nothing.
Leaving her pantry empty and starting another awkward moment with Jamie is something that she doesn’t want to happen ever again.
However, it looks like the man has a different plan that Anastacia failed to understand.
And she is damned scared that the meaning behind Jamie’s missing presence is his way
