LIORA I woke up to an empty bed. Still half asleep, I stretched my arm across the bed, blindly searching for Ryder. My fingers swept over the sheets where he should have been lying, but there was nothing there. The spot beside me wasn't just empty, it was cold. Completely cold. That could only mean one of two things. Either Ryder had left a long time ago, or he didn’t sleep in this room. A long yawn escaped my lips as I slowly sat up, rubbing the sleep from my eyes.
