SCANDAL

1141 Words
Emma's POV It was like what any other girl would have done. Having felt my buttocks as stiff as a sal branch, I had to lift up in order to get them some feeling of comfort so having successfully dragged a pair of numb limbs to the door, I managed to pluck myself out with a tiring embarrassing moment of lifting one leg after another while being stared at by a million roaming the station. The train lay still, its honking to be dispersed when the green flag waved, while I tried to manage to bring out few paise from the old Cinderella backpack. "Hungry? Here...grab a bunch of chips for all of us" I was confused because the mention of 'all' got me arching my eyebrows. "Well, for all of us", she stressed on pointing the bunks above, below, and at the sides. Some were even dozing off so I didn't even know why she was doing this. But it's Maria. If it is Maria, then it's what she says. To be honest, I respected Maria for more than the one who held my developing body for nine months. "One Lays, please...Oh yeah! One, Two, Three, Four........Eight! Totally eight!" My hands began to count the dollars, while I fished out it from the little pocket hanging on to my Gucci wear. The station was humming in noise, with beggars stroking legs while a bunch of casual men in the infamous expensive wear walked around in style and fashion. "Oh! Isn't this a ten?" I counted them due to their enormous count. He laughed the mustache which threatened to be of a policeman shaking as he joked around with me. "Beautiful girls deserve extras" To be frank, my mind crossed across my dad right then. I wished I hadn't thought of him, just then. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~ "Why?" "Because we arrive tomorrow, Maria. Money for the cab, the long bus fare, and of course, another charity purpose which will come amidst all of these. I said, No! and that's it" I screamed. She didn't move an inch. Granny, was dozing off thankfully making her least obvious to these matters. I felt blessed on her dozing off for she was the only one to grab my love. The remaining was a piece of s**t, to be exact, which unfortunately my innocent maid refused to know. "Look, just seven packets will do. They are even planning to share" It's what she said without meeting my gaze. But why doesn't anyone explain why Maria herself wants to buy them breakfast when there is an entire other most luxurious men who can afford it? But she wouldn't have it. The old men who sat at the upper bunk gave glares at me, while I diverted them to the naughty kid and his family sitting across. Everyone was excited, yapping for Maria's money while I stood as a girl, fighting against a lawyer, a family, a bunch of teenagers, and finally some sleeping stranger-like souls. The station stayed put again. I gagged on noticing her push the large amount into my hands. To be frank, it is surprising if you think over it twice because coming from a rich family, I should be the one loathing to spend money and not her. Yet, it remained a mystery. "Why don't you go?" Maria stared hard. It always hits hard, when you get a glare from someone who brought you up. In my case, it was more like a midwife like a mother. So I stormed out. ~~~~~~~~~~ "Your back?" I was because I had wanted to get this over with. Pushing the food to her arms, I climbed to get my blanket and pillows. It was elsewhere, and the gobbling sounds making it harder found nothing but misery. My eyes were teary, for reasons I didn't know and I climbed into my bunk, after giving a shove to Maria to notify her of the fact. "Goodnight. Wake me up by morning" That was that, said to mean I was upset. Nothing came back except for a sigh. It hurt me. Because only my puny little brain knew, how much blood was shattered when those papers were thrown to her face. How much thrashes echoed the walls when the slaps were heard. Screams kept ringing in my ear, making everything much more difficult. Only I. It was just for me to suffer. Suffer, in order to change a broken past. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ "Won't the crowd recognize us?" Falcon was least worried about it. He had pulled in a mask, dressed in funny summer wear which once his dad had worn to his mother's blind date, while the other four dragged out lame, torn clothes to occupy their body and identity. "We will keep a tracking device, in case something happens" "Yeah, lets" Everyone agreed, unlike the other times when one would be on another's head for drinking more water after a concert or gobbling the new black bean noodles which Tattoo's mother brings for them. Sometimes, it would be worse when one ended up on the floor for a good sleep. "Tatoo, we ain't going without food. So stop munching on the chilly spiced potatoes" The latter was busy while consuming food with a mouth and the Webtoon with his eyes. Nobody gave a hang, because it was a normal day. It was a usual day, like other humans who went on a trip. Ten years since debut. Not been even on a family outing. Everything had come into being on time for practice, vocal moisturizing, and even worse, the strict diet controls so their body didn't give way to exhaustion.. "Key, strike out some good songs. It's a long way", grumbled Falcon. He was the least excited because as his good researches said, Haneun city wasn't as clean as everywhere. The images showed a village in mud, kids bathing in lakes, and to add fire to the fuel, the restaurants preached food mixed in cockroaches. Having envisioned the worst, he didn't know whether he had wanted to decline the contract. However, Sparkles were cheering for them, and he felt as if he should give it a shot after all. Nevertheless, he was still pissed off, by the way, the boys had vomited to his ideas of 'London' and 'New York' which they pushed off by marking, "That's our concert spots!Geez!" Anyway, now here he was, running through to the railway entrance among a ton of reporters, and fans jumping in through the railings, taking every step closer to his bad destination. Now, he wished he hadn't looked for upon it more. "How exciting!" The stations had turned empty after a century of personal guards pushed them inside, into the cackling running vehicle. They waved, and so did their managers. And what began as a simple journey changed into a scandal....
