"Wait, wait," Daniel says acting cool but inside his voices i know he is panic, just like me.
I wonder why the heck they put air conditioner inside the restroom. I start shivering as the cold sting my skin. I move my warmth palm to my shoulder, deliver warmness to my cold skin.
"Are you okay ?" Daniel voice reverberates inside the restroom. I can hear numerous foot steps, it's means he is not alone.
"Yeah," I reply hoarsely due to my sore throat because of cold.
I don't know what they done to the door. After several minutes of knocking it they can remove the door fully and i can get out.
Happiness run through my veins when I see Daniel with his smiles waiting patiently for me.
I run to him, carrying the excitement I feel, just like when your mom says 'Time out finished!' and I stumble, fall into his bulky chest.
I squeak, the things both of my hands can reach is only his arms. I grasp his arms and he hold my my waist, steadily. I raise my head, look at him. My eyes meet his gorgeous brown eyes and both of us gasp.
"The floor is wet, don't run," He whispers while helping me to stand. "Is it hurt ?"
"No, i'm fine," I says and smiles to him. My ankles actually hurt a bit but his voices ease the pain.
His fingers intertwine with mine, "My special girl, please walk slowly."
He shorter his steps as he walks with dwarf. Yes, I'm the dwarf. I wear high heels and i only as tall as his shoulder.
We step to the red carpet, all the attention into us. We walk slowly like we're the groom and bride on the wedding ceremony.
The night cold breeze accompany us along the way, at least it is better than air conditioner inside the restroom.
The time slowing down and it's feel like a slow motion. We're getting closer and closer to the stages. He suddenly lifts me in bridal style. My hearing and sight was blurry until he places me beside him on the stage.
The guest are clapping with big smiles on their face. But some of the girls from my school, swim in jealousy that flashing from their face and body gestures.
"Sorry for the interruption, my girl is kinda hard to get," Daniel says, greet by laugh from the guess. "She is special, of course."
I stand timidly with my favorite smile on the stage as nervousness overwhelm me.
"What's your name ?" The first MC asks me.
"Beverly," I reply.
"So the special girl is Beverly. Okay Beverly, what is your wish for Daniel ?" The second MC asks.
I gulp before i speak, "Always be the best."
"Wow, a short, dense and clear wish," The second MC says and the guest are laughing again. "How long have you known her Daniel ?"
"A month,"
"Wow, only a month she could melt Daniel Lee heart," The second MC replies. Either he is really surprise by Daniel answer or it just his acting.
"She is different from any girl on my school. She has her own color," Daniel says. My mind tell me he just exaggerating. "Can we eat now ?"
All of us laugh at Daniel. Both of the MC nod and speak, "Enjoy the food now."
"I know you love me," Daniel whispers at my right ear, automatically sending a series of goosebumps to my body. I scowl at him and he smiles, acting like he is dealing with toddler. "I know you do. You don't have to hide it."
I'm so glad you can read my mind, Daniel.
"Let's take a picture," I say.
"Not just a picture, you can take a million baby," He says with his sexy voices that i want to hear everyday until the rest of my life.
Oops, We're just fifteen and We're not even official.
He avoids all the crowds and walks beside me. We reach the photo booth and take like ten pictures. They print it immediately and put it on paper frame. I insert it on my bag, and look for my friends because the guest have queuing to take picture with Daniel.
The food concept is buffet and all the food is delicious. My mom and Charles get special seat. They just sit there and the food will come to them.
"Guys !!!" I clap both Emma and Melissa that stand to each other.
"So are you guys official???" Melissa ask, look as excite as me.
"No guys..." I say and smiles.
"You guys can talk later, you must eat Beverly," Charles says in stern tone, spoils our happy atmosphere and drags me to his table.
The foods come, one by one. I'm almost full when Daniel comes and plops to the seat beside mine. He takes chopsticks and eats his rice with chickens and later his soups.
As his dad is Chinese, birthday noodles is mandatory menu. Daniel really enjoys the food and he even doesn't talk to me, even a word. He keeps eating and eating.
"I'm so full, i need a walk," I say in complaining tone.
"Don't forget to come back," Charles teases me. I roll my eyes and he frowns at me. "It's disrespectful."
I leave him and pace to my friends, whose standing in group and enjoying soda. "Guys."
"What happened inside the restroom ?" Morgan asks, even I'm standing here and she still worries about it.
"The door broke and locked me inside," I say and shake my head. "I thought i gonna stay there for a night."
"Morgan and Emma were worried, so was Daniel," Madison spat.
"So sweet," A deep voice hums, making five of us turn back directly and find Daniel standing handsomely behind me. His lips draw upwards and my heart starts to race. I never feel this way before. "Can i borrow her for a while ?"
"Sure," They says in unison.
Daniel leads me to another private room on the restaurant still with breathtaking views.
"Wait here, i gonna take something," He says and leaves me alone.
I rest my hands on the balcony, looking down and see cars come and go. It's been a minute and he hasn't came back. I start to panic but still acting cool.
What's he taking ? Why he takes so long ?
