MONDAY MORNING
A black limo drove into the company, the workers stood in a straight line waiting for the boss.
One of the guards rushed down from the front storming to the back.
He slowly opened the door, as they all waited patiently for him to step down.
He stepped out of the car, his eyes roving from one edge to another as he stared at the workers.
They were all dressed in a white long sleeve, the men in their black trousers, while the ladies had a long black skirt just below their knees.
He threw off his sunglasses stylishly flinging his long curly hair giving him that killer look, he was dazzling, and handsome wasn't enough to define his looks, his deep blue eyes added to his charming looks.
Well, that's ADRIAN WINTROP for you, he is the CEO of WINTHROP'S ENTERPRISE, the biggest company in Los Angeles as a whole.
Despite having a wife, he's a flirt, a cheat who doesn't believe in the letter ‘LOVE' he had to marry his wife as demanded by his parents to collaborate but yet after four years of marriage, nothing happened, none of them seemed to be interested in each other, they lived like rivals.
He walked past the workers ignoring their greetings, they all thought he wasn't saying a thing but then he pursued turning back to face them.
He walked back standing beside the first guy, he took a proper look at him, from his head to his toes then walked past him.
He did so with the rest till he got to the tenth, a lady, unlike the rest her skirt stopped not too far from her butt showing off her laps.
"Are you gonna work with this s**t?" He asked angrily.
"Yes sir" she nodded smiling.
"Why is yours shorter than the rest?" He asked strictly.
"Well sir, recently I have gained a lot of weight so my skirt Is kind of getting a bit tight and shorter for me” she jibbered shamelessly.
"Oh really?" He asked, letting out a chuckle.
"Yes boss, and besides I am your assistant, don't you think I deserve Something different compared to the others?" She asked, smiling widely at him.
"Oh spare me those smiles, I am not buying that today, you are not stepping in with This thing, I mean not with this tight dress, you are going home!" He snapped, making the rest gasp.
"Boss!" She called biting her lips Seductively.
"Have made my decision, it's either you change into something better or you go back home, here is a company, not some suit of a clubhouse, you can wear that to parties, but not here, hope am clear?" He asked expecting a positive response.
"Boss please can I just wear it for today? Please I will change Into something better tomorrow" she pleaded.
"No way, you are going to end up Confusing my partners and your fellow workers, remember that's a crime" he jibbered, holding back his anger.
"Yes, boss!" She mumbled walking out from the crew.
He did the same with the rest.
"You may all go to your duty posts, remember, we are having a meeting with the ADAMS, no mistakes" he ordered before walking into the building.
"That was close, I am sure she's going to learn her lesson after today's embarrassment" one of the workers muttered to the guy beside her.
A young guy in his late twenties walked into the large hall with a mean look.
If looks could kill, then definitely the workers would be six feet beneath the ground.
He's GRAY ADAMS, the CEO of the ADAMS GROUP OF COMPANIES, though it was a public corporation it still has its name since his father was the biggest shareholder.
He's always putting on a mean expression and so is his heart, he barely smiles.
At a tender age, he believed the WINTHROP were their enemies and it has been his dream to see the WINTHROP at their feet begging, something that seems impossible, but yes! He was ready to make it possible no matter what it cost.
"How dare he? Who does he think he is? He can't just fix a meeting without informing me, no that can't happen" he balled his fist angrily.
"Boss, but he told the rest of the shareholders, so I don't see any reason you should be upset," the lady beside him said.
"Oh shut up! My father owns the biggest share, don't you think we deserve some respect?" He asked, burning in rage.
"Calm down boss, you still have a chance of overthrowing him, all you just have to do is play your cards wisely," the lady chuckled.
"It should go as planned, I wouldn't want any mistakes, don't fail me!" He jibbered giggling.
"Trust me on this!" She muttered.
That's her for you, all she believes is ‘ one good turn deserves another' that's before she met him though.
"We are leaving by one, don't delay me like the previous times!" He warned strictly.
"Sure boss, I won't fail you this time around!" She replied with a chuckle.
ADRIAN'S OFFICE.
His door slowly cracked open as a lady in her mid-twenties walked in glaring hatefully at him.
"What are you doing here?" He questioned angrily.
"I should be asking you, where were you yesterday? I waited for you all through the night, but you.." he caught her off.
"Since when? Since when did that start? You have no right to ask me silly questions, got it?" He yelled at her.
"You will come back home to meet me, I am done with this hell hole called marriage!" She snapped storming out angrily.
2 PM>
Three flashy cars pulled into the large company.
Gray stepped down from the first one, then Morgan followed.
Four middle-aged men stepped down from the second one, then two from the last one.
The security walked towards them showing them their way in.
All this while Gray had a sad and angry look.
"WINTHROP'S ENTERPRISE here I come, everything here will soon be mine!" He thought, giggling.
The security led them to a large hall helping them with the door.
Adrian's wife was seated beside him busy on her phone.
They all stood up the moment they noticed their presence.
Gray who happens to sit opposite him never stopped glaring at him.
While Morgan sat opposite his wife.
She was so lost staring at the handsome guy in front of her that she forgot to sit like the rest.
"Hey, comfort your lustful desires, you can't ruin my plans with your silly attitudes. '' Gray whispered to her eyes, before sitting down.
"Oh.." she muttered, taking a seat finally.
"It's nice to have you all here, well let's get down to business, we don't have all the time in the world!" Gray muttered.
"So I called this meeting today in regards to the demand citizens made. They strongly believe making a collaboration would help increase our sales and also it would.." Grey caught him off.
"Wow wow wow" he applauded, "wow, you called a meeting without our consent, how disrespectful?" He Hoff.
"Calm down Gray" Mr Willard one of the shareholders tried calming him down.
All he wanted was to create a check, have Adrian fight him, record it, then boom upload it on social media, so Adrian could be criticized and would have the media saying s**t about him, his company, Everything related to him.
Arianna who was lost staring forgot to record what she was asked to.
She picked up her phone, turned on her camera, and placed it right on Adrian staring at his beautiful face, she forgot what she had come for.
Lust overshadowed her, Gray who was busy yelling out his lungs failed to realize he was only wasting his time and energy.
At first, it recorded Everything he said, but just before Adrian stood up, she disconnected it, placing it on his face once more.
"You should be mature enough to know that I am not expected to go from house to house, inviting everyone for a business meeting. Come on, that's impossible," Adrian muttered.
He balled his fist angrily cause he was expecting her to make a record of it but sadly she's doing her own business.
"That's okay," another one told them.
They both took their seat and then Adrian resumed his speech.
Soon Elizabeth noticed how Arianna had been staring curiously at Adrian.
"Will be back shortly" Arianna excused herself.
"I need to use the restroom" she muttered while leaving as well.
