As I sat in the car waiting for my dad at his office, I went ahead and resigned from my post on the HQA. I was fortunate enough be put on a waitlist to be stationed in Dallas. I was hesitant about staying in Texas but it had grown on me. I had the option to move bases if I wanted to, but I wasn't sure how everything was going to work out.
Finally the car door opened and my father stepped in. He embraced me in a hug and looked at my face. " Jillian, what's the matter dear? You look like you've been crying." I just looked at him and told him everything as we left to go to dinner. As I explained everything that had happened with Travis, he just held my hand and listened to me intently.
