As we waited for Jillian to come back, Jon and I stepped back into the house. As we reached the stairs, we saw a blood trail down them. The guy I had shot, was gone. " Jon we need to get out of here for the moment, there's no telling where that guy went to." I said and Jon nodded as we locked the door from the inside and left. We walked down the the block and it was one of the most beautiful scenes. You could see all of La Jolla and the water glistening as the sun was setting. I just hoped Jillian was okay and she would make it back to us quickly.
