Luna watched him walk towards her. She didn't cower in fear. She stood her ground. Though she was fidgeting inside. She didn't let it show. When he got to where she stood. He bent over to her size. Then he whispered in her ears. “That…is a very dangerous question”. This blew hot air into Luna's ear. Her mind went blank for a few seconds. Then, she shook her head and stepped back. The sudden closeness made her uncomfortable. The man smirked. He straightened up and walked past her into the living room. Luna stood there for a moment, she was gathering her thoughts. Then she went inside and closed the door behind her. Inside, she found him walking up and down. He was looking at things in the living room. From her decorations to her pictures. Luna found that unsettling. Where is his manners? He can't just come to someone's house and start looking around like he's the landlord. She shrugged and went to the kitchen to make their breakfast. She would occasionally glance at him. She watched him to know what he was up to. The man suddenly sat down and focused his eyes on her. This made Luna to be extremely conscious of herself and she didn't like it. The air suddenly wasn't enough, she felt like she would suffocate. The food was ready, she dished hers in her black ceramic plate with red floral patterns. It was her favorite plate in her house. Then she brought out another plate and dished for the stranger in her living room. She set it on the table and beckoned on him to come and eat. The man came and sat down, but he didn't touch the food. He watched her closely as she ate her's. Luna noticed and was irritated. She frowned. “The food is right in front of you, not on my face!” She half shouted and raised her eyebrows. The man, gracefully raised his hands, scooped the food and ate. He didn't look at her anymore. Luna thanked her stars in her mind. They ate quietly for awhile. “If you can't tell me who you are, tell me your name at least ” Luna insisted. The man was about to scoop another spoonful of food when he heard the question. He paused. The spoon still in his hand. He lazily looked at her. “Why do you care?” He asked coldly. His face void of any emotion. Luna was dumbfounded. “What?” She wanted to make sure she heard him clearly. The man had gone back to eating his food and chewing it slowly. Luna slammed her fist on the table and stood up. She has lost her appetite. She took her plates to the kitchen. Opened the fridge and poured water into a glass cup. Without saying a word, she carried the water to the dining and dumped it on the table. This made the water to spill a little. She paid no attention to it and went to her room. She had had enough. She feared she might lose her cool if she stayed a minute longer with him. Inside her room, she called her friend Maya. While the phone rang, she debated on whether she should tell Maya about the man or not. The call went through. “Hey Luna“ . Maya's cheerful voice was heard. “Hi Maya, what's up with you?” Luna greeted. “ I'm chill. Wanna hang later? Your house? I'll call Julie “. Maya said in one breath. She's the talkative one in the group. Luna bit her lip. She can't allow them to come to her house, she doesn't want them to know about the man yet. “No, bad idea…I'll be going out later. Grocery shopping.” “Maybe next time”. Luna struggled to make up an excuse. “Oh…okay. It's fine, no problems.“ Maya said disappointed. They said their goodbyes and hung up. Luna sighed and threw her phone to the other side of the bed. Then she got up, took her first aid box and went out. She met the man seated on the couch, seriously typing away on his phone. He had a serious expression on his face. Luna dropped the box in front of him and sat down. “It's time to dress your wound”. She announced. The man leaned back on the couch and kept his phone aside. Luna dressed the wounded and replaced the blood stained bandages with new ones. While she was doing that, the man suddenly asked. “Do you live alone?” Luna was startled. The question threw her off guard. She composed herself. “Why do you ask?” She decided to give the same reply he gave her earlier. Two can play the game after all. The man acted like he didn't hear her reply. “Do you have neighbors nearby? Did anyone see you, bring me here?” He asked away. Luna got angry. “Enough! “You're acting as if someone is hunting you”. Luna shouted. Luna was still fuming when she heard something. A sound. It came from outside her house. She was still trying to stand up and check it out. A cold wind blew past her. By the time she could react, the man had reached the door. He bolted it from the inside and stood defiantly against the blinds, looking outside. Luna was shocked beyond measures. ' What just happened right now?' ‘How did he get up so fast?' Her thoughts ran wild. That was when Luna discovered that the stranger has fast reflexes. The way he reacted also made her realize that he's used to danger. 'Just who's this man?' However, it turned out to be that the sound they heard earlier, came from the house next to hers. The occupants must have dropped something heavy. Luna looked at the man and saw his shoulders relax a bit. He walked back to the couch and sat. “I'll be going out to shop for some groceries later, then I'll buy more medications for you.” Luna informed him. She needed to buy some food stuff and also get some medicine and ointment for his wound. She had concluded to house him till his wound got better. Then she would have him leave her house. She was about to enter her room when the man's phone rang. He received the call. “Boss…we found them.” A male voice sounded from the phone. Luna froze. Boss? Slowly, she turned around. Just who is this man? .
