Warren’s aware that his feet are moving. Someone’s shoulder is wedged under his armpit. He leans against a black-clad body. “Dammit, Warren!” It’s Ignis, puffing as he tries to hold Warren upright. They’re outside. When did that happen? Warren turns his head as the tumbledown houses rush past. The movement brings bile rushing up his throat and he doubles over, vomiting. Ignis swears and Warren barely has time to wipe his mouth before they’re off again, stumbling along the path towards the glasshouses. Bee-vision pulses in his eyes. The world swims with blue and violet. Behind him, Warren hears footfalls. People shouting, as if from a great distance.
